Gyrusens+ [v1.8.6]

Alien reptile race from distant lands, and more! (No longer requires Airless Dungeons!)

  1. Cars and Colonies Update!

    G.Xyon
Eiloh, starbounders! Gyrruss in for a new update, this time around it deals with tenants, tires, and tweaks! Here's the rundown:

    Additions
    + Ouron Hovercar (WIP)
    • -50% speed
    • +10* angling
    • +10% Jump
    • x2 HP / +25% Armor
The Ouron Hovercar is a heavy-duty military jeep that can withstand alot of use and abuse! Made to traverse awkward and jagged terrain, the vehicle can angle itself widely to accomodate difficult lands and has higher jump boosters for mountains. Being heavy, it's a tad slower. Made for jumping into the thick of battle quickly!

    + Ouron Hoverbike (WIP)
    • +80% speed
    • x2 acceleration
    • -20* angling
    • 1/2 HP
    • Lowrider Status (-2 ground distance)
    • +1 Coolness
The Ouron Hoverbike is a cool-guy lowrider made for extreme speeds in relatively flat lands! A one-seater bike, so no one cramps your style; unfortunately, getting rid of the thick platings and basic functions like seatbelts and airbags has made this vehicle somewhat fragile and relatively dangerous unless you're good with the wheel. All the cool-kids in town talk about "hopping" with the Hoverbike, whatever that is.

+ Recruiter NPC: The Recruiter NPC has arrived! A special NPC that will sell exclusively spawners for those who simply cannot be bothered by colonist requirements. The specifications to obtain this NPC will be further down!

    Fixes:
+/- Quicker GSF Drills: GSF drills have been sped-up significantly to make-up for the crafting costs.

+/- GSF Flag Bookmarker: Following suit to the vanilla flags, the gyrusen species flag now behaves exactly like them.

+/- Updated Colony Tags on Objects: Most objects in the mod have been given colonists tags to make spawning gyrusen-specific colonists a lot easier.

+/- Changed Tenant Requirements: Here's the big one! All NPCs have now been given appropriate requirements and tagging to make summoning them relatively easier! Here are the current requirements/tags for the NPCs:
    • Villager = Basic
    • Basic Merchant = Basic, Storage, Commerce
    • Blacksmith = Basic, Synth
    • Stim Merchant = Aurowhite
    • Doctor = Aurowhite, Hospital
    • Botanist = Auroclassic
    • Chef = Auroclassic, Cooking
    • Clothier = Auroblack
    • Music = Auroblack, Music
    • Bugs = Auronatural, Bugs
    • Tools = Auronatural, Tools
    • Arcade = Auroblack, Auronatural, Toys
    • Wizard = Aurowhite, Auroclassic, Anomaly
    • Recruiter = Ouron, Gsf
    • Followers = Ouron, Gsf, TierX
    * Basic: Synthesized Furnishing. (excluding the lightsource)
    * Synth: Synthesizer Crafting Stations.
    * Auro<color>: Auromero furnishing of the respective type.
    * Hospital, Music, Bugs, Tools, Toys, Anomaly, TierX: Special furnishing sold by previous NPCs or found.
    * Ouron: Ouron-Based furnishing.
    * GSF: GSF-Based furnishing (Ex.: Flag, Hexorb Crafting Stations).

(Note: All NPCs require some type gyrusen-type furnishing!)

+/- Re-enabled spawners: All spawners have been re-enabled through the Recruiter NPC and the GSF Database station.

+/- Re-Enabled Followers: Followers have been re-enabled! NOTE: Followers can and will shoot other non-colonist, non-spawner NPCs! Be careful when bringing your bodyguard to foreign villages!

+/- Guards are Spawner-only: Guards can only appear as spawner in to prevent them from taking additional colonist space!

+/- Retouched Gyr-Numbers: The Gyrusen Numbers that appear in the Skytower within the city have been improved substantially.

+/- Changed Energy Hexorb Effects: Energy Hexorb and its later forms have been modified to add more base energy instead of energy regeneration, seeing as the regeneration effect was not having an impact on the player.

    Removals:
    - Removed Witch's Broom tech + misc. scrapped techs: Removed event Techs that were either broken or still WIP and non-implemented to save a bit of space.

Thanks guys! Have a good one!
