Outdated Future Mining Tools Mod 1.8

If you don't like "last millenium" pickaxes.

  1. Jakupf
    This is my second mod c:

    It adds some great minning tools:
    -Dematterializator
    -Uranium Heater
    -Rocket Pickaxes
    -Auto Minning Drill
    -Laser Drill ( Funniest to use c: )
    -Laser Drill v.2 ( Even funnier to use than Laser Drill )
    -Some explosives ( More are coming, thanks to ollj. )
    -Minecart Tech
    -Laser Minning Tech
    -Terraformer

    And some things wich help you minning (for ex. by providing light):
    -Lightorb gun

    You can craft them in normal way or on Tabula Rasa (From 1 pixel)

    Most of them are much stronger than even diamond drill, and much funnier to use!

      It is for old version and my Starbound is broken so...as soon I repair it (Or at least, they make update which fix it) I will post new version

    Awesome! I tested the new update throughly and found a bug with the dematterializer, it lags the game like crazy.
    I went through the files and found that the fireTime was set at 0.0001, putting it at 0.01 made it less laggy for me and it was still cutting at the same speed, but it's still a little laggy though.
    I'd also suggest some balancing, like substituting the cheat recipes in tabula rasa for actual recipes, nerf or remove the laser drill v2 and making the uranium heater be unusable when depleted. and also remove the ability for the laser drill, bombs, etc to mine walls, that's not very convenient, but that's just personal taste.
    Overall this mod has a lot of potential, it's the only one i've found where a matter manipulator doesn't get upgraded with stronger materials, but with more poweful fuels! Keep up the good work.

      I think I set it to 0.01 and I don't test it at new version (I know I should) but on old version I don't have any lags. Maybe it something with new version or that minning sound.

    Great mod. The tools all smooth the pacing of the game making the early game mining a bit more efficient while letting you farm planets late game.

    These is a really fun mod, I loved all the tools. The only minor suggesting I had was a way to retrieve or turn off the "Auto Mining Drill", maybe by standing under it or right clicking it. They can get a little out of hand and I think they only stop now when the reach a planets core.

      Thanks c: . And yes they are stoping after reaching core but I think it is inpossible to do way of retrieve it (If it will still works as projectile).
