This little guy trades goods at list price. If it costs 500 pixels that's what you'll pay for it and that's what he'll give for it. Goods retain their value, creating economic stability.

Hire one today at your primary crafting bench for a mere 100 pixels.
Currently sells cotton fiber, raw poultry, venom samples, cryonic extract and scorched cores.
