Feeling alone in the galaxy? Need a friend to keep you company on your travels? Have no fear! The Create-A-Friend spawner is here! With this life-changing technology you can spawn a sentient of whatever race you choose, and dress them up in whatever gear you like!

How do you start? Simply purchase a CAF Spawner Base(tm) from the employer station (you can make one of these once your ship is upgraded sufficiently) Now craftable from the tier-3 inventor's table!

Here we see one of our revered scientists who has just created a new friend for himself! Simply place the spawner base on a flat spot of ground and be certain that there is adequate backwall for the panel to spawn. After a few moments your friend will app... OH. How indecent. We must get this woman some clothes.

To do this, just click the spawner platform sitting there on the ground. You will be presented with an interface that allows you to equip your new friend with any gear that you desire. Let's get her something fancy.

That's better! Simply place your chosen item in its respective slot. CAUTION: Items placed into inappropriate slots will be ignored.

What's that you say? You want even more ways to customize your friend?? It's your lucky day! By interacting with the smiling panel above the spawner platform you will be able to access the Create-A-Friend patented config panel!

From here you can easily change your friend's race, type, and even modify their DNA structure allowing for pseudo-random variations in color, gender, and personality! Wow!
As if the genetic modifications listed above were not enough, we also cater to those who prefer their friends to be a little MORE modified than most.
