• Novakids can now craft the non-racial vanilla melee weapons that other races can craft. You're telling me they can make a laser sword at the seperator's addon but they can't make a sharp stick?
• 'Impact Event' music sheet now obtainable via completion of Nuru's third arena quest. Players which have already completed it will have it added to their inventory (if room is present) upon logging in
• New quest given by the NPC at the core fragment mine on lush planets. Quest guides the player towards crafting a Distress Beacon
• New quest given by the penguin mech scientist in the outpost. Quest guides the player towards crafting an Inactive Robot
• Unused vanilla object, VR Headset, is now obtainable! Find it in scorched city biomes
• More miniboss variety
• Force Cage is now a possible secondary ability for procedural staves
• Abilities with 'energy' in the names now use their element instead, ie 'Fire Pillar' instead of 'Element Pillar'
• 'Energy Lance' ability added as a physical-damage version of Element Lance
• New weather event for volcanic planets: heavy ashfall
• New weather event for moons: space dust
• New consumable item: Heating Bag. Make at an upgraded medical table!
• New weapon: Poison Dagger! Find it in jungle biomes or research the recipe
• New structure: Glitch Wizard Tower
• New suit tech: Breakneck Sprint!
• Scanchips! They unlock certain object scan data for the Pixel Printer- for example, a "Human Ship Door" scanchip will add the Human Ship Door to your Pixel Printer. You can find them in the wrecked starship encounter dungeon. After obtaining one, you can craft Blank Scanchips for copying existing scanchips
• Cupid! He appears to sell goods at the Outpost during Feburary.
• Glitch Spider renamed, added to monster collection, and given a new description

- Weapons
• Increase Aegishot energy cost and knockback
• Change uzi stats again. Also add Fast Flame as an option
• Change machine pistol stats
• Shotgun alt ability no longer does exact damage per level. ie always doing X damage at Y level.
• Lightning Coils now apply Electrified status effect
• Electro Grenade can now damage the player; projectile changed
• Melee weapons cannot spawn another projectile until theirs has died
• Brain Extractor projectile now pierces, lives longer, and is faster
• Remove aegisalt/scintillium rifle knockback
• Removed Energy Lance as an option for shotguns. Burst Shot is their Energy Lance. Existing weapons with this ability will most likely keep it
- Sprites
• Changed tentacle planet sprites. They should also better reflect the planet's actual appearance while in orbit. It's not perfect, but then again, I did beam down to a pink moon and it turned out to be blue...
• New facelifted weapon/skyrail sprites by _InferusRF! Aegisalt Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun, Alien Laser, Blowgun, Bone Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun, Brain Extractor (and icon), Scintillium Pistol/Rifle/Rocket/Sniper, Freezeray, Ice Chucker, all Skyrail rail icons, Gas/Plasma/Electro Grenades, Mushroom Shortsword, Frost Spear, Tesla Spear, Bone Axe, Eye Axe
• New inventory icon for Old Television, Red Toy Block, Bubble Boost, Copper Ladder, Wine/Cordial/Rootpop Bottle, Whiskey/Rootpop Flask, Wine/Cordial Glass
• All Betabound drinks have had their glass color changed slightly to match vanilla's. Also flipped them so the light comes from the right side
• Reduce animation speed of Slave Sword's projectile
- Equipment
• Nerf Mining Drill tech
• Changed shield bars to more clearly indicate that separate hands have separate shield bars
• All-Seeing Cape is now less rough to use
• Target Blink tech energy usage scales with distance, up to a max of 110 energy
• Master Manipulator magnet changed; no longer an aura around the player but rather an aimable line
• Stone Hoe no longer untills dried tilled soil, just like vanilla hoes
• Ladder Deployer no longer sees platforms/ladders/furniture as solid blocks when it checks if the player is trying to place ladders through a solid wall
• Ladder Deployer does not consume ladders for admins
• Charge Jump is now more powerful in areas with high gravity
- Food
• Meat n' Marrow food value increased; now uses a tomato in its recipe. This is because it was a duplicate of Meatjuice
• Bolted Milk food value increased; now uses a currentcorn in its recipe. This is because it was a duplicate of Bolt O's
• Apple Pie food value increased; now uses a butter in its recipe. This is because it was a duplicate of Apple Crumble
- Misc
• Alien Weird Wood drop rate and fuel output reduced
• Infinity Express no longer sells processors
• Defeating Dreadwing via Distress Beacon no longer qualifies for the 'Defeat Dreadwing for the Beakeasy' quest
• 'How I Became A Landlord' codex series now has a numbered icon
• Asteroid field parallax merged with unused version. Added more hueshift colors and new secondary block
• Luminous Rain weather event now sometimes has more sparkly rain
• Blizzard weather events now give a frost slowness debuff
• Plates now center themselves when stretching
• Upside-Crown Cake, Carrot Shortcake, and Shortcake have new 'on a plate' sprites
• Metal Trap Door description now states it is lost upon being broken
• Narfins (prism biome monster) can now drop prism shards on death
• The racial objects various outpost NPC's request now have an Uncommon rarity instead of Common
• Changed Revolting Stew/Rotten Apple/Raw Flesh Lump food value. Also poisonous
• Wooden/Iron Tool Tables now have a lamp because... technical limitations. I couldn't make this up if I tried, but at least the lamp is nice
• Flash Freeze Spray now checks if Food Rot Bars is installed, and if so, removes the bar because an item that doesn't rot does not need a rot timer bar
• Gas Mask and Craftsmens set can now be found rarely in glitch sewers
• Fuel cost for traveling between star systems now scales with distance, up to a max of 1000
• Add sound effects to lecterns and blank books
• Rewrote lectern code to be more streamlined and to use less storage space on your computer (since it stores items in it). Unfortunately, as a result, some non-codex items (ie Shattered Alchemy's pages and Aetheric Book Creator books) are no longer considered valid items for a lectern
• Tentacle planets can no longer generated abandoned farms or glitch execution houses
• Replaced the generic beast in the abandoned farm encounter with a mooshi

• Obtaining Holiday Spirit now unlocks the Toymaker's Table recipe
• Changed Revolting Stew recipes; removed Rotten Apple recipe
• Tool Tables are now upgradeable like vanilla stations. ie there's a button in the crafting menu rather than separate recipes

• NPC's no longer get upset if you tidy up the place with a broom
• The Item Frames mod no longer hates certain weapons
• Masterful Weapon Upgrade Kit now shows when filtering by upgrades
• Fixed tentacle planet first underground layer parallax being weird
• Players can no longer take fall damage when driving a jeep underwater
• Santa tenants no longer drop loot on death
• Accretion Disc music sheet no longer unobtainable
• Random events now happen again, oops
• Fixed the resolution on tech item icons being slightly off
• Procedural minibosses can no longer respawn
• Harpoon Gun, when found in ocean chests, now scale their level with the planet's
• Modular Defense Turret no longer randomly dies in extremely rare circumstances which are most definitely not common at all and not caused by reloading the area
• Center 'MATERIALS AVAILABLE' text on all Betabound crafting stations
• Huge Bipeds now realize when they're uselessly running over a small ledge and will jump
• Charge Jump can no longer be used while other movement abilities are active (ie jeep tech)
• Some parts of the USCM Bunker dungeon can no longer spawn above ground
• The Night Light now lasts for 180 seconds rather than 5
• From a hotfix on 4/NOV/2023: Starlight Engine uses `light` as a namespace, so change Betabound's Master Manipulator's `light` function name
• From a hotfix on 25/JAN/2024: Fix for some extremely rare mod setups causing some techs to be registered as suits when they aren't suits
• From a hotfix on 1/FEB/2024: Add a check for default values that should always exist in the Universal Uncrafter before attempting to modify them because some mods remove those default values

• Changed the file names of some dye files in `/items/generic/dyes`
• `\objects\wired\sb_standingturret\standingturret.object` has strings to be translated
• `\sb_elementmods.config` has strings to be translated. It is responsible for the element changing item. `/spawnitem sb_elementmod`. There are 4 elements, Fire, Electric, Ice, Poison
• Move `ladder.statuseffect` from `/stats/sb_effects/` to `/stats/sb_effects/movement`
