Ave's Take All Hotkey 1.2

You could have it all... My stockpile of dirt.

    This is a proof of concept/WIP.

    Utilizing the unused PlayerTechAction3 key, I hacked a very inelegant method for taking all items from a container with the press of a button. If you are too lazy to move your mouse to the Take All button like I am, I made this mod for you.

    Just assign a key from the bottom of your controls config window and you are good to go.

    This works by tying the action to the body tech slot, so new characters are granted a low speed running tech called 'Doubletime' upon waking up in their ship. To use, just open up a container and press your Take All key to automatically loot it and close the window. If you have an existing character and cannot stand that you "missed" the starter tech, use /enabletech ave_defaultrun.

    Note that you can press the key before opening a container and it will still loot that container and close the window immediately. I have not found a way around this yet. But hey, it isn't a bug; it's a feature.

    Compatibility
    Works with both Improved Containers and Enhanced Storage. Works with all Zerotap Mods and their parents except for RPG Growth. Also supports BlinkThrough.

    This mod does not support RPG Growth, which as far as I know is the only mod on this site using PlayerTechAction3 aside from this one and its Zerotap patch. I doubt that it ever will - they can be used together, but if you are an Explorer with the Drill Sphere, you will see the 'Transferring items...' popup each time you transform and find yourself autolooting the next container. It's even worse if you use Zerotap for RPG Growth because all class abilities then use this key. That would be immersion breaking and annoying.

    Lastly, I don't mind if someone else wants to take this idea and run with it but please contact me before you alter and redistribute so I can give you the most recent iteration and link to your version.
