I had to restart my fortress because a miner was stuck below without any stairs to navigate up or downwards :\
well the death of 1 dwarf doesn't mean the end of the game. Even if you lose the copper pick, you can trade for/buy one from a trading caravan, if you've built a trade depot.
:P. Anyway my current fort is my best so far. Got a river for water, a great layout to the fort, more farms than I have seeds to plant, 4 stills brewing wine, 2 carpenters to make barrels for the wine, enormous storage space, a trade depot, a graveyard, various other workshops, mined out bedrooms waiting for furniture, and an enormous amount of normal/semiprecious stone.
Having been on the receiving end of WAIS-IV I feel I can confidently say that if an IQ test isn't painfully long and dull to the point of it being ridiculous it isn't to be trusted.

I'm getting tempted to play Dwarf Fortress again. Someone stop me before you find a picture of a hanged nababoo on this page.
Just tell one of my staff members or I through any means you see fit and we/I'll take it into consideration. :)
Really, either of these are golden. http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/meet-the-oscura.19343/ http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/the-zaahir.19101/
You used to have a YouTube link on your profile for an awesome piece of classical music. Remember it, by any chance? (I forgot to bookmark it.)
Well, it's only ten pages, I figured. Found it on the seventh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97xlBipnzG8. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like someone needs to write amusing/eloquent descriptions for the new donor badges... gogogo...
