It does, just not for versions of the game considered “Outdated”

Thx so much because I suck at building and i didn't like some of the default ships so you know I had to rely on the power of mods

You should not just randomly download things and hope they work. There are OUTDATED tags for a reason.

I downloaded it from the nexus and they normally don't have tags but thanks for the friendly insight

Well thats your problem. Literally nothing on the nexus is viable for Starbound. It is simply not used by any of the community. This site and Steam are effectively your only options.
