Just making avali gear takes nigh forever, without making humanoid variants that avali cannot even wear (and humanoids have no shortage of clothing), I don't mind other people making humanoid variants, but it'll certainly never be a core feature of the mod.

Mods that exist for the singular purpose of bundling together several other mods without actually adding any new content. There's a number of problems those kinds of mod cause though i haven't room to exhaustively list them all :p

The avali mod and all the related mods are already cross-compatible with pretty much everything except ship mods (Which seems to kind of defeat the purpose of them having their own, hand-crafted ship art, if it's going to be over-ridden), there's no need to make a merge mod for that purpose.

And I'm deliberately not greenlighting merge-mods for the sake of merge-mods at this time.

I did though I'm a little unsure what you mean by an "avali mod pack", there's only like, 2 avali related mods out there, including the core mod xD

It certainly works with fully customisable ship mod (and Mad Tulips too). It's only compatible with multiplayer servers, if the multiplayer server is also running the Avali mod.

Changing an existing character to become Avali is beyond the scope of script functions we currently have access to. If you have a well advanced character and want to switch over to an avali, you could dump all your stuff on a planet, note the co-ordinates and go pick it up on your new character. The universe is shared by all characters

Well the only reason i asked is I do not see any Tier 4+ Avali weapons at stations. D:

If you already have tier 4+ unlocked, you'll need to use the starmap/unlocks for those tiers again.

Whew, because it's a pain in the arse to find a crystal biome, I'll try to get some screenshots to show off the awesome Avali building mats. :)

(While I can't *guarantee* there'll never be an avali-related wipe, I do my best to ensure that it isn't needed, and I don't foresee it ever being necessary)

Thats great! I do love your mod, I never thought I'd take to a custom race but they are great, I love the tech style so much. :)

Well, I don't mind people making add-ons for it or using the lore as a base (See: Reni's armory, Catalina Industries).

Sure thing ^^, I don't mind people using the race for original characters - honoured people like the concept enough to take it beyond the game.

I also had a couple messages asking about art commissions too, and i have no objection with artists taking commissions on Avali characters either.

I've got *everyone* chatty blocked right now, needless to say the mod has rather led to an influx of people wanting to talk to me randomly; while I have less time to dedicate to random talk.

I guess you could say 'take a number' on the Starbound forum like everyone else ;)

For starters you could've just clicked 'start conversation' which is the intended way for sending messages directly to people :p - you can even invite multiple people. Secondly, your idea; asides from being an insane amount of work, is quite unworkable. There's no way to "combine" bits of other races at will, even changing a players race is not really viable far as I'm aware.
