Automatic block firing Trebuchets

Level 1 automatic turrets made from simple materials that fire dirt blocks at targets... they can be pre-stocked with blocks to fire... and combined with spike traps and and buttons and levers. Even if they're only effective against stopping basic creatures, they'll also make all sorts of fun for... adventurers in dungeons.

That opens some nice possibilities. Like dirt slowing down the enemy or spiky traps let them bleed. But its important
that the blocks dont blockade the path of the enemy. That would be overpowered.
Maybe they drop themself at the hitpoint as an item or so.

 

this could be really good as you could fire blocks that your friend needs next to them

 

Long-ranged supply transportation ftw! Maybe you could stock it with any item to fling so that you could send your buddy across your moat without a bridge some supplies other than blocks? xD
