I don't understand those who play minecraft just for the PvP. I mean, you could do any generic MMORPG for that...maybe server commands and mods make it fun enough?

 

Its ok. I never understood either. But some feats are rather impressive when it comes to said pvp........
but i still dont play it. instead i build complex dungeons.

 

Heh, that's one of the funniest parts of Minecraft. Make a complex dungeon, fill it with monsters and traps, throw in some treasure, lock it in Adventure mode and make your friends crawl through it.

 

the resolutions a bit shoddy but yes.
irl i fell out of my chair laughing at the great lengths you went too.

nah, we take it a step further. you cant lock it in adventure mode cause it requires you to place stuff.
you see that soulsand sitting there in the middle. yeah you have to put three wither skelly heads on it to break that wall over there. (polite rules of not breaking anything) then you have to kill the bastard cause hell chase your ass to the ends of the earth if you dont!

I thought you could place items on blocks in Adventure mode with the 1.5 patch?

idk, i tried getting into adventure mode in 1.5 but :c i couldnt figure it out :c

always. but never finish them :l something always comes up.
if you want i can tinker with the last one and implement the latest redstone stuffs to make it epic

I still don't understand why Mojang is trying to keep releasing "official" patches when the number and the potential of mods are dozens of times greater. I mean, the only thing they announced for the next update is horses. Also announcing they're being helped by the creator of the Mo' Creatures mod, which already includes them. How is that different from just plugging in the mod? Which also includes a load of other stuff, is less likely to contain bugs, and gives all credit to the one that not only came up with the idea, but actually realized it?
