Tutorial About Tiles and Custom Ores

    Just a quick question, regarding the oredistributions.configfunctions file.
    I made a basic mod that controls the generation of ore on asteroids but, I want to go further than that, I tried just copying the 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 levels, however configuring the ores to each tier it seems to just spawn them all regardless.
    Any ideas what I am doing wrong? If you need the workspace let me know I can send provide a temporary download from Dropbox or something. The mod overrides the file not patches it as you showed in the tutorial, but I think you need to do that if you want to replace the settings I could be wrong I am still very new to modding with Starbound and I have spent countless hours already trying to find some way to make sub-planets for asteroids as an alternative but, I thought I would try to find a solution on the forums first before I be a noob and make things more complex then they need to be :rofl:.

    Levels are the depth \ layers of a planet.
    So a single type will always be the same

    In order to have different asteroids to produce different types you will essentially need to create different asteroids

    Do you know of any tutorials that can help me learn how to do that?
