i did that and it worked but my mods are gone and idk where to get them i tried nexus mods but none of the ones i had were there

 

Search for your mods on https://smapi.io/compat it's possible some of them were discontinued or no longer work. There are alternatives listed for some discontinued/no longer working mods.

 

i couldent find the mods there but i was able to comb my computer for them

 

Be careful with outdated mods, they can cause the game to crash, especially old XNB mods.

 

@FUA You have an outdated Smapi, get the newest and the crashing should stop. Also, what mods did you have that you can't find?

When I play with my friends, after the crop was planted for 1 day, the client player can not go accross the crop


But the host player was not suffer from it

Okay... So on all my farms, even the one I play with my boyfriend, if I walk to the left side of the farm around the greenhouse, my game crashes.

@Cheshire Drago It looks like it's looking for a file that's not there, try verifying your game files thru Steam.

 

That seems to have fixed it. Thank you @Moragaine! I tried to read through the error log and could not make heads or tails of it. If I have problems again I will try doing that first

 

Now this is strange... SMAPI keeps telling me there's a new version of a mod, here's an excerpt:

But if I go to the specified page, I see no "version 1.1", only "version 1.0" (see uploaded file)

It's not breaking the game, just annoying.

 

If you look in the header of that page, the author has it marked as Version 1.1; that is what SMAPI is detecting. The easiest workaround is to edit the manifest.json of your copy of the mod to say version 1.1 instead.

Your game is failing to find the character file for Kent (who first appears on Spring 1 of Year 2). Try verifying your content files.

 

seems i forgot to unzip the .rar file of the xnb mod i downloaded and just put it in place of his character file, well that problem's fixed! thank you @MouseyPounds !

 

My mod contains some asset files. I added them to my project, but automatically generated zip package still doesn't have it. How to do this once forever and not with every update manually? I couldn't find guide on wiki, but if there is one link it or explain. Thank you (from the mounta..) in advance

I found it myself. I just had to put the assets folder in the debug folder. Previously, she was only in the class library.

I've been trying to have a multiplayer session with a friend and I keep crashing the moment I leave my house or try to enter town. This happened after I reinstalled all my mods (new PC, fresh installs). Wondering if they're at fault. I don't have all the same mods my friend does.
