Collectors edition won't update

    I recently received my collectors edition of stardew valley in the mail. I was hoping to play multiplayer with a friend but unfortunately the game refuses to update saying "you are using the latest version of this software" when I force check for an update. Currently the game is on 1.2.37 however my friend can update to 1.3.33 with the digital eShop version.

      I'm also having this issue! I'm glad I'm not the only one because I was thinking that i might have gotten a defective game or something.
