A game update soon? eager to see what news brings, it would be interesting to see that update 1.4, or at least something similar hehe
Hoping that y'all are finally returning to what Starbound was supposed to be from the start - a space exploration game with random content's amounts eclipsing predefined content and no sub-par player-limiting storyline. Accept your mistakes and make Starbound great again, please.
alright, so i'm gonna play laymen so i'll understand: what exactly does intergration with Discord mean
While I personally do not know how the discord store works, I imagine integration with the app means it will work in a similar manner to steam. You have your discord games library, with its own overlay and functionality working through discord.
Not really "getting revived", it's more like..... they've always been working on the update, but.. I would surmise that porting it to consoles is taking the majority of their time.
Yeah, they've always been working on something. Like the bounty hunter update Though there's also been a lack of communication, so it really felt like there was not much coming anymore I wonder if the development of the game will be as it used to be before release, or if there's gonna be just a skeleton crew working on updates
Does the Discord version have to be bought separately, or is there a way to run the Steam version with the Discord integration?
It is great to hear that they (at least) do something. And it is even greater that they (said) will release a PC update soon (or later). I am glad they don't abandon Starbound. Keep up the good work guys, we have your back!
Remember,Chucklefish are publishers too; so in addition to porting Starbound to XBox One, they're also doing publishing duties which often involves testing and squishing bugs. Must be a busy place with updating and porting Starbound, developing new projects like Spellbound (or whatever it's called) and doing QA as a publisher for other studios!
I'm very confused. I hit "news" under a Steam update for Starbound, and get some Steam article about porn in games.
Damn them. They're just ruining Starbound name. Those are the people that I just can't respect. Edit - Yeah, I just realize something, even though I don't like it, even though I have different perspective about it, I should always respect it.
"meet the modders determined to add nudity to the least likely games" mods are made as third party... they never (directly) talk about the game itself just the mods and what they do...
