Modding Discussion Migrating XNB mods to Content Patcher packs

    Thank you for the corrected version!

    I decided to test the maps of greenhouses without mods and I learned a couple of things:
    1) I'm a dumb and inattentive user. I had to do a check for a possibly idle mod without other mods, and not first write about it. I apologize.
    2) The problem turned out to be with MTN mod, which supports custom maps, there do not work maps of greenhouses with floors.
    With vanilla maps, there is no such problem.

    Anyway, the problem is resolved. But I thank those who tried to understand this problem. And sorry for the false alarm :C

      I'm trying to make a tiny CP mod to change the description of jelly into jam, but I can't for the life of me make it work. According to SMAPI, I don't have a valid json file? No idea what I'm doing wrong (or what I'm doing, really), if anyone could give me a hand with this I'd be very grateful.

        I recommend using a program like Sublime, that'll help catch these errors. You were missing a few }

            Okay, so SMAPI is running the mod just fine, but it isn't working. At all. Not even on a completely new game. I can't figure out what's up with it - I had a look at Heyo no Mayo and as far as I can tell I haven't missed anything or done anything wrong, but it's still just... not working. Any ideas anyone? =/

              I referenced the ContentPatcher version of it that is supposed to work properly. I also made a CP mod to change the name of the broken glasses to broken bottle, and that one works just fine, no issues. So I really don't know why this one doesn't, 'cause it does more or less the same.

                I have no idea why even you waited for my signal just because you are going to make the content patcher of it. o_O
                Anyways, the file's dead and buried now.

                Have you tried making the jam with the mod already installed?
                If it's not working perhaps there are more content files that needs to be edited.

                      I have yes. Installed mod, tried making it both on an existing game and a completely new one. Neither worked. If there's another edit to be made I wouldn't know where to start looking for it =/

                        Here you go. The glass items are a bit darker and less vibrant, but as I can't determine if that's because the mod author made them so, or if it's because those items have had their sprites updated, I left them alone.

                          I'm using the CP conversion that @asunai made of the 2cute farm cave and it seems that the fruit are no longer spawning? I don't have any SMAPI errors for this mod so I'm not sure why this is happening... just a heads up for anyone using it, idk if its a conversion problem or just something thats not working on my end.

                              I took a look at the map, and I have a theory, but I'd need you to test it for me, since I don't tend to choose the bat cave (I love mushrooms). Can you see if this version where I've made a few changes works?

                                I made a Content Patch version of this mod [Original source].
                                So, [CP] Handsome Wizard for quilb.

                                Features:
                                • Works since SDV 1.2 with SMAPI 2.5.5.
                                • If the mod have update, you get the notification.
