Modding Discussion Migrating XNB mods to Content Patcher packs

Hello, I tried converting a mod into a content pack for the first time so forgive me if I didn't do it right or something but it works on my save file so I guess it's okay. For anyone trying this I suggest to backup your files first before trying this out.

Anyways, I've tried migrating Eemie's Fence to a Content Patcher pack and here's the result. The mod is not mine and all credit goes to Eemie.

Right, for the stargrime.. That's.. really tons of file to work out if you peek inside xD I'd gladly get this to work but I won't be testing the mod for graphical bugs. So, does that sounds good enough?

 

That sounds awesome. Any effort put in is more than anyone should expect. The gothic style of these mods are quite appealing. Hopefully they can be shared on Nexus as well.

Few things :
-Fonts are completely bugged so I have no choice but to let it stay vanilla
-New objects like seasonal decors, rare paintings and most stuff bought from Night Market stayed in vanilla mode
-Some wainscotings in townsfolk houses are graphically bugged, but it's from the townInterior sprite itself
-I fully expect that the Night Market Event will be graphically bugged, CP codes cannot fix this
-Pam's new house (outdoor) will stay in vanilla mode, CP codes cannot fix this as well

There might be more than that since I've only tested it in 1 day and I'm not aware of the bugs during the other festivals. So I'll leave the rest of the test to you.

-Building borders graphical bug is fixed
-Toddlersbedetc config will replace all townsfolk since there is no way to replace only the toddlers bed without bugging the rest of the townsfolk bed.

Hey yall!! I know that two of the mods from this designer have already been converted (specifically the Girl's set and hats) but I would love it if anyone could convert the hair and clothes mod too! Either it hasn't been converted yet or someone hasn't uploaded them to the wiki, which I checked.

Aight, did it. Here ya go. Just a simple load action, if you wish to add in other hairstyles, well, that's up to you.

Shirt set: Config options to replace the vanilla shirts, or simply add to them.
Hair set: Adds both female and male hairstyles, adding to vanilla.
