I had downloaded Stardew Valley without purchasing it. I downloaded off of [redacted] or something of the sort and I can't find any of the files need to at least attempt to mod. I also looked through all app data and couldn't find one thing to let me get to saves. Can some one help me figure out how to mod without steam?
Please note that piracy is not supported anywhere on this forums. I removed the link you put into the topic. Pirated versions are most likely outdated and/or don't work properly. I recommend acquiring the game in a legal way. Regards Iris Blanche
Mods work fine with both GOG and Steam versions; see the modding FAQs for help. Your saves are stored separately regardless of version.
Step 1: Get a legal copy of the game so you know it is actually the latest & supported version Step 2: Follow the SMAPI instructions.
