Personally I would have liked to give more than one like just for the reason of "Steampunk hoverbike is it's own reason".

Holy shit! How do you do that in Starbound? Did you make it yourself?

 

The fire was a gift from someone and the Death Eater-esque travel mechanic is just a really fast automatic close ranged blink with the regular glowy particles replaced with black smoke.

And speaking of Death Eaters, this smoke mechanic was actually inspired by them and a Persian myth! I also tried replicating the way they typically "curve" when traveling this way.


And if you're curious, the Persian legend is that cats were created by a magician from smoke, fire, and stars as a gift. So y'know, Witch Cat. Witches can teleport via smoke-ification, cats are made from smoke. Put 2 and 2 together and bam, Smokey Kitty.

So a while ago I said that I had a Novakid character but I kept forgetting to post it. Well not today!
Here it is...


This is Nitro Methane, also known as "Nova the Kid"
He was part of a group of outlaw Novakids that resided near Saturn and looted many trade and USCM ships. He is also a known smuggler of many Legendary and Unobtainable objects. He's made quite a good living off of it. The last mission he ever took was on Earth. It was to smuggle a Fishaxe for a client on a Mars colony. He had arrived on Earth and was waiting at the rendezvous point when the Ruin attacked. Unfortunately, he was never able to complete his run due to the planets subsequent destruction. He used his pixels to buy a planet in the Milky Way's outer rim and is now a Mooshi Rancher working with TerraMart Shipments. He still raids the occasional merchant but its more of a hobby than an occupation. He considers himself retired. His favorite food is Avesmingo ice cream.

Here is another one that I made...

This is Captain Hiraki Rekado.
If the surname sounds familiar its because he is the cousin of Space Adventurer Hiraki Corale. He is a well known privateer for Letheia Corp and has also escorted many shipments to make sure they get to their destination safely. He has only ever failed once. He was escorting a weapons shipment that was headed towards Earth. They were passing by Saturn when suddenly they were attacked by the infamous Nova the Kid and his fleet of outlaws. The battle was long and bloody. When Captain Hiraki and Nitro Methane met face to face they dueled. While Corale won the duel, the Novakid bandits made off with many shipping containers full of firearms. This failure only drove him to become better. He is now Letheia Corp's best pilot and one of the best swordsmen in the universe. He wields one of the seven Hokucide blades. His favorite food is Reefpod Surprise.

 

Ah, I see he is a connoisseur of fancy hats as well.

 

Mmm, yes. I can appreciate many a good hat, and that certainly does suit my tastes.

 

He got that hat in a skirmish with pirates. It belonged to the fleet's commander.

 

Pirates usually do have nice hats, like Captain Barbosa!

 

Where did you learn to do make that though?!?!

And... I don't really have much more to say about him. It's just a explorator, and he worked to rebuild the protectorate.

In fact, his real name isn't Daemoniaque, but no one, even his more trusted friend and crew member Ludvig, know is real name.
