The distraction part definitely worked for a few squads of Covenant. This is really dangerous though, so you're going to have to be careful. You pick up a few rockets. You're fully stocked with 8 total. It looks like there are two more left in a case, but you probably won't be able to carry that too. This should be fun...
That seems to work pretty well. The only problem will be if any of them throw a grenade. @Arra You're fully locked and loaded with that rocket launcher. Time for some havoc. @HunterC1998 You're at the airlock of the ship now. Michael had to drag both you and Jake there, but you made it. @Jake9039 You're also at the airlock. Michael dragged you there from about the halfway point. @Jirky-Kake You've cleared out the bulkheads and are about to enter the control section. Suddenly, the alarms start blaring. Looks like you've met that two minute time-limit. The rest of the Sangheli go rushing in ahead of you.
Jake preps himself for battle, and looks to Michael for a countdown. _____________________ Angry ram wonders where he ended up in a random teleport.
He begins to circle back towards the marines, but stays in the tree line, trying to distract them until the airstrike.
Micheal gives the signal to exit just in time for you to watch a group of longsword bombers fly overhead. A split second later, the Covenant are engulfed in flames. An eerie silence falls over everything before it is broken by the cheers of the marines. --- You're on what looks like a snow-coated battlefield. There are chunks of metal lying all over. Some are even still warm. You are almost back to the marines when you hear a low rumbling. It slowly gets louder until it becomes a roar. You see what looks like a longsword fly overhead and watch as the entire Covenant front line is engulfed in a fireball. There's a few seconds of silence before the marines begin to cheer.
Jake looks around for any survivors , to see if they could get any prisoners to interrogate. ____________ Angry ram accesses the planetary scanners, as well as any other scanners to see what happened here.
No way anything survived that. Plus, any prisionre would most likely die before they said anything. Unless it was a Grunt... --- There was a battle here. There was a large human force up against three large Covenant machines. The humans suffered heavy casualties but destroyed all three. Looks like they're already on it. You see Michael waving from the airlock as the marines that were up there begin to rappel down. You also overhear that your ride off of this planet is coming soon. (@Firebird Zoom , this is important for you.)
Jake rappels down to the battle, and looks for any marines or anybody to regroup with, and then asks Michael about their ride out. ______ Angry ram looks up, and looks for how the humans are going to leave. Also, he looks around for any kind of data about the battle.
1578 does whatever he needs to do right now. Which is to act like a normal human to blend in with his fellow humans.
Right now you're just helping with loading up the Pelicans that have just arrived. The remaining marines are now collecting supplies and loading up the Pelicans that have just arrived. Looks like that's your ride out. --- The humans will be leaving via troop dropships. You have a good amount of data from the battle, but it's not super detailed. You end up helping load up one of the Pelicans with supplies and people.
Jake helps load up the pelicans, before taking his seat. He then looked around, and admired the scenery(besides the war torn part of course) ------------ Angry ram teleported to the human dropships, and looks around for the guy that was in charge, deciding that helping the humans would help him generally get everybody offplanet
He continues to help load up the pelicans, but also keeps an eye on the surroundings to make sure there are no remaining Covenant waiting to ambush them.
Nothing left waiting to ambush. You finally take a seat and take off, back to your ship. You take off and get a good view of the area. Then you're off to space. --- "Oh. Hello." The humans decide to let you come with them. You get a good last (probably) look at your planet before you exit the atmosphere. A signal beacon is left for anyone else on the planet, giving coordinates to meet up if they choose. THE END! (Until I can get some more players. I hope the inactivity is coming to an end. The whole RP activity went way up and then basically became a heartbeat. Little bits of activity. So... yeah.)
Well, I certainly hope people become more regular during the next one too. I will be waiting for that time.
