    I'm way out of my depth here trying to get this to work. So I have ALL, Ent Framework in the mods folder.. then I put the map files in Mods\AdvancedLocationLoader\locations\ExpandedCrevices right? If so, I'm not coming across any SMAPI errors but the locations aren't loading. Any ideas, good people of Stardew?

      Thatis the correct folder. Did you extract the package to that folder?

        Yes, the map files are all unzipped in the ExpandedCrevices folder.

          Hmm.. Update the framework possibly? If the mod is working there should be a note on the wall outside of the Saloon and Pierre's asking if you'd like to upgrade some things. On the beach (well, New Beach) there should be a bin that you can click on to make a path there. I'm not sure if you've used this in the past but most things are price based. You can always alter the manifest to suit your prices, too

            Oh boy, I don't know how I missed the part about purchasing the shortcuts. For some reason I thought they would just be added. I'm sorry, that's completely my derp! Everything is working now, I can see and interact with the notes to purchase the shortcuts.

            And actually, I like it a lot better this way! It makes it progression based instead of a freebie. Yay!

              There are also upgrades that occur to houses and shops throughout the progression of years as well. Certain fence areas can be taken out to navigate better (beside the mayor's comes to mind; plus you can move his truck). I wanted to throw in a ton of "secrets" to keep this mod going for a good long while. Enjoy!

                EDIT:

                I tried to start a new game and the same thing happens as shown in Notepad 1.
                However, some things work, I can buy some places, but others do not exist / have no option. And even after buying a location such as the top of the bus stop, there is an error in SMAPI that I did not understand. I posted in Notepad 2.

                I managed to make the MOD work completely: I just deleted "Config.json" from the !EntoaroxFramework folder and started a new game. Inexplicably it worked perfectly well. SMAPI errors still appear the same as before, but this time the MOD is working perfectly well.


                EDIT 3:

                I found a serious problem:

                At the beginning of the game everything works very well, but at a certain time, Marnie and Haley on towards Robin's house, they turn left towards the new town and from there they disappear from the game. They even disappear from the list of characters in the menu. And they do not return in the game anymore.

                  This problem has been addressed on one of the pages of this thread with a replacement manifest that disables that area to fix this issue until further notice. I have unfortunately not had time to test anything after version 1.11. I've been contemplating if I will be releasing any updates in the future with this or any other mods. Possibly later on in the year when life slows down a bit but for now it will remain as is unless things break significantly.

                      Thank you Androxilogin for the great mod. I wish I can load it tho :/ This mod was the 2nd one I ever tried (my 1st was TimeSpeed). And yes I followed all the instruction.

                        I have a couple of problems. The new area behind the farm/above the bus stop doesn't have any winter texturing which is kind of a turn off for me. I don't know if that's a problem with my game or if you haven't done that yet. If it's just that you haven't done that yet, do you have any plans to do so in the near future? Another thing with that area is that the path end on the left doesn't line up with the path in the next area at all. One last thing that I've noticed in my short time playing is that there's no way to get to the minecart in the new area from the other minecarts. Plus whats the point of the new minecart when there's already one less then 10 seconds away from it by the bus stop?

                          Using the manifest from an earlier post in this thread disables that area completely since it was from an alpha build from official update version 1.07 and causes scheduling problems (NPCs getting stuck) so you might be further ahead just using that.

                          As for adding to or finishing this area or any other portion of this mod along with all other mods I've made is undetermined. Basically I'm on indefinite hiatus since I've been busy with a ton of life chores and this mod was an everyday project (literally; from early morning to early the next morning a lot of the time) for a couple months with a small amount of users. I will most likely update everything I've contributed eventually but it's hard to tell if or when. For me, these manipulations were a chance to gain a little ground in to the complexities of developement through javascript rather than put what I've learned from C# programming books to the test thus forgetting basically all I've learned which was not a great idea. So now I've decided to move forward with those practices in developing my own things outside of this game. Although with summer in bloom I've set my laptop aside for a while and picked up a few books from the shelf.

                          I'd like to inform everyone that I haven't been active in this sense overall but I have a lot of pages to cover in getting this message out there. Any further developments in this or any of my other mods will surely surface on my modblog, androxilogin.blogspot.com . and although I haven't been actively mapping, nor have I even launched the game with the new updates, etc., I still show up here about once a day to see what's going on.

                          Oh, and the minecart you're referring to was meant to be just a placeholder for other mining ideas I had that I never put into action, not as a warp. The map itself was to fill space where things just didn't seem right with the original map layout yet inconsistencies are everywhere in this game that bug me beyond belief.

                            Since I'm starting to get into editing my own game for personal use (and having things that look like they should be entrances to something, but don't actually do anything pokes at my minor ocd tendencies like whoa), I'll probably add click warps to the minecart, and those two caves (the one with the ladder and the one above it on the path) leading to say, the mines (for the minecart), the skull cavern (for the one with the ladder, as it might go pretty well with the flavor text on the barrel), and maybe have the last one exit at that dip in the beach that looks like it might lead to a secret foresty area. (cause I have no idea how to add extra areas, or else I'd make it a cute little storage cave) in my own game.

                            At least until you come back and update with whatever you plan to do with that area! I'm really looking forward to it. but in the mean time those crevices that don't do anything are driving me nuts. hehe.

                            Good luck with real life, and I hope to see what you come up with when you decide to update this mod again. <3

                                  Well, I find myself unable to open the skull cave map in tIDE. (sigh)

                                  So, instead, I may have to make that redirect go somewhere else (like lvl 50 of the mine, if possible) to have it match the 'didn't come back, don't go in this cave' feel of the note nearby. When I get all 3 areas working, I'll upload my edit of the manifest.json and backwoods 2 as a temporary fix (so people will stop giving you "hey I found bugs!" notices), if that's okay with you @Androxilogin.

                                      That's the one I meant. Its in the main game files as SkullCave (the same way the mine entrance where the dwarf is in the files as Mine.

                                      Unfortunately, tIDE throws an invalid parameter error when I try to open it, even with all the required files (mine_desert) where they should be. So I made the warp to a tile in the desert just outside the skull cave instead...

                                      Edit: I think I'll be adding in the conditions that the cheat-y warps can't be used unless certain conditions are met. Mine warp - after earthquake, Skull Cave warp - after desert unlocked, Beach Warp - after you unlock the path down from this mod).

                                        That's curious because, after I've made my farm caves maps - one of them using the skullcave.xnb - I seem to be unable to open them again because of the same issue you're having! Dunno the reason, but it's curious. The map is still playable (for all I know), you just can't edit it on tIDE.

                                          Finished Making the fixes. If @Androxilogin wants me to take them down, I will, but for now, here they are.

                                          What I edited: Manifest.json to add warps. Desert.xnb to add a pylon an a visible warp option. Backwoods2.xnb to move a rail tile to the back layer.

                                          Warp 1, Back Path to Beach - Go in the upper cave to reach the second half of the beach. Requirement: Purchase Access from Town to Beach. To get back, enter the location pictured.

                                          Warp 2, Back Path to Skull Cave Entrance. Walk over the ladder downwards and be transported to the Desert right outside the entrance to the skull cave. Requirement: Purchase Tunnel access to the Desert. To get back, walk in front of the pylon outside the Skull Cave.

                                          Warp 3, Back Path to Mine. Walk behind the minecart to be transported to the mine entrance. Requirements: Day 5 Earthquake event. To get back, walk in front of the minecart in the mine.

                                          I also fixed the warps for the Tunnel to the Desert and back, since in my game they were letting me walk off the map without doing anything. >.<

                                          Hopefully this helps anybody who wants to use this mod, until Androxilogin gets back. :D

                                          Just drop into your stardew valley folder and overwrite as indicated. You DO need the mod from the Original Post in order to use these changes, as I only included the files that I changed.

                                          Note for XNBLoader users: Place the file located in "content>Maps" in "XnbLoader>ModContent>Maps" Instead.


                                          @Karmylla I wonder if its something to do with tIDE, or if CA changed something when he updated SDV to 1.2?

                                          Edit: When I get to the point in my game when the Marnie and Haley disappearing trick happens, I'll see about trying to fix it by adding npc pathing routes to the maps in question (at least to send them from Backwoods to Robin's House (without letting them walk off the freaking map). I noticed that in my game once I've unlocked enough places Npcs will sometimes decide "oh, hey, lets go hang out on that completely inaccessible cliff above the swings!"......:zzz:;;; So I might implement a fix where I make it accessible....maybe. Or I'll just ignore them till they come down from there. That works, too! X3
