When the interface freezes, give it some time and then check your starbound.log. It will probably log some errors there related to a .lua script. Could you send the full error my way?

Give me a while and I'll get back to you, Starbound doesn't seem to wanna start with the workshop mods I have i.e it start WITHOUT any workshop content for me.

Can you make this mod comparable with other mods so that the other mod items are spawnable?

Read the GitHub overview/issues page before asking questions like that, please.

Thank you. Great for when I'm not in the mood ore have the time to grind stuff. I noticed some legendary weapons spawned with your mod have different statistics then the ones found in game.

  7. Errors4l

    Errors4l Spaceman Spiff

Game might generate them with some additional parameters, but the mod spawns the default ones. You can set the level in the advanced options, but that's about it.

    amokay Scruffy Nerf-Herder

Yep, turns out the game has a certain default level for each legendary and I don't think any of them are level 1 so that is why the 2 tesla's wrath I had found had a damage of 30 and the one I spawned with the mod had a damage of 10. Thank you for the quick reply and for the great mod.

I noticed that the FrackinUniverse patch is out of date. I'm going to attempt to place it into the SIP mod, but just to make sure, I need the batch project you have mentioned earlier, right?

Or can I just grab the files from FU itself and plug them into SIP?

  10. Errors4l

    Errors4l Spaceman Spiff

Yeah to add items to SIP for a mod you'll have to create a patch from the assets. The tool in the GitHub repository can help you with that. See: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-SpawnableItemPack#adding-items

Just to be certain I get it right, is this the right setup?
    Code:
    "SpawnableItemFetcher.exe" "C:\GOG Games\Starbound 1.2\Starbound_v122_Windows\mods\FrackinUniverse-5.0.185" "C:\GOG Games\Starbound 1.2\Starbound_v122_Windows\mods\FrackinUniverse-5.0.185\sipCustomItems.json.patch"

That seems about right, assuming you have the mod unpacked in that location.

I'm not sure if anyone else found these two bugs, but if you spawn any rocket launcher, it will only have guided rockets as a secondary and shotguns only spawn with grenade launchers, yet everything else with a secondary attack will come up randomly as if you found one on a planet.

Maybe while fixing those bugs you could add features to select an elemental type for all procedural weapons and possibly the secondary attacks for the two-handed procedural weapons.

It won't work. I try pressing MM upgrade but all it shows is the upgrades I can give the Matter Manip

how do i install sipCustomItems.json.patch? I don't have created any mods and i don't know how to add that file to .metadata

Other than the item level, items are spawned without any parameters. The default parameters are defined in the vanilla build scripts and item files, so that's not a bug related to the mod. Being able to define parameters for items (mostly for weapons) has always been something I've been wanting to do, but I've never gotten to it (nor do I know how to implement it in the current interface).

Do you have the latest version of the Spawnable Item Pack and Manipulated UI installed? Do they appear in your asset sources (cog in the bottom right of the main menu)?

I created a wiki page that explains how to set up patches. Hope it helps!

Love the mod, useful with pixelart and colony building.
i want to suggest more options for that gear button tab.
    how about search by tag/race?
and search by collor or option to change collor of item or object you spawn in mod ui?
FU support would be good too....if you are still active with the mod.
    im using steam version.

Thanks for your feedback, but I'm sorry to say I've kind of lost interest in adding to SIP.
I will still do my best to maintain the mod and help people out who need help, but I probably won't be adding new functions any time soon. Maybe after 1.3 hits and I have more free time on my hands, I can look into how I could improve SIP.
Custom items are not supported, as there's no way to "find" all items loaded into the game. I made a tool that allows users to easily add mod items to the interface: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-SpawnableItemPack/wiki/Adding-Items

I've created an enhancement suggestion on GitHub for your post, though: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-SpawnableItemPack/issues/18

There's a JSON file that doesn't parse. Did you lint any json files you touched? http://helmet.kafuka.org/sbmods/json/
