The cases are a bit stuck, and you need to use the ejector to 'encourage' them; this kicks free the good cartridge, making the process that little more involved.

Your rapid shots only hit centre mass, and lack the impact to knock them back.

You see a couple large robot(?) suits moving in from the rear of the car.

You have to 'crouch' the suit through the door. Luckily for you, Amira seems to already be running your way.

And how do you plan on doing that, chief? Unless you plan on literally pushing them overboard...

Best to start looking. He's not immediately visible, though.

Looking out the window, you see the large vehicles are practically alongside the train, raiders simply climbing out and jumping onto the train.

After emptying the cylinder, you start the involved process of reloading through a loading gate. It's made all the more difficult with a bad arm.

 

Jade simply reloads, and starts taking shots at the drivers, moving down and firing at as many drivers as she can until her magazine is exhausted


Maxwell looks around for his preverbal "little buddy". If anyone unfriendly gets in his way, he smacks at their legs

 

Lance ducks behind cover where he can keep an eye on Jade, leaning against it so he can free his hands to reload, "How's it looking?"

" Eaaaaah....Whole lotta guys and vehicles! "

 

"Are they hooked on?"

 

Jade looks to see if they are...

 

Amira slides into cover under a booth and starts firing at her original target's leg.

Rubio is careful not to get in amira's way as she rushes towards the enemy, pick in hand.

 

That could work... if he only needed to get one and then get shot. He looks for how they're getting on. Then he looks for any grenades on the nearest dead raider, looking up and down, making sure no one could sneak up on him.

 

"Bah!" He lets the live cartridge go, no time to bend down and sort now. He decides to take advantage of the momentary lull to continue reloading, hoping the bot in front of him would be more than enough cover.

 

"I know it's bloody hard, but at least I'm doing something!" Alistair mutters at the annoying narrator voice.

Alistair snarls in frustration

"I'd better off throwing the thing at them!"

And after a time, that is exactly what he does. Standing up out of his cover momentarily, he throws the gun at the head of the nearest raider. Afterwards, he snatches up his rifle and attempts a retreat to the next car.

 

You only get off a couple shots; you can't rush a sniper. Hitting the drivers doesn't help though, though trucks are still being dragged along.

With the height advantage the suit gives you, you'll be clotheslining people, not tripping them. Once you get into motion, friends and foes alike get out of the way; mass time velocity equals right of way, after all. You find your drone where you left it, though it's been disabled.

They vehicles are clearly tethered to the train, and these ones have some redundancy.

He was closer than could be expected, grabbing for the barrel of your rifle with one hand, and raising his machete with the other.

Seems your associate is in a spot of bother; and you see the glint off what appears to be a rather large knife.

The body you find seems to have been on the wrong end of a shooting gallery. You find three, they all seem to be chemical or smoke grenades.

There isn't much of a lull; you finish reloading not a moment too soon before you gain the attention of another raider, this one seems to want to do rude things to you with a hatchet.

Your throw smacks one of them in the head, a kilo of mass being more than enough to stun someone. There's enough commotion that you retreat without any further incident. You're now in the cargo car, and it seems they've got a bit of a triage centre hidden behind a crude barricade.

 

Jade growls as she looks at the cables


Maxwell feverishly looks around for Kronos...swatting at any enemies if he sees him

 

Roland gets to the window to see if he could remove a large vehicle and have it knock off any others as collateral, his shotpistol should surely dislodge the cable fixture.

 

He takes them and tries to see if he could get one into one of the vehicles.

 

((Yeees, well, a faster reload and spare clips would have been more helpful))

Alistair walks towards the barricade.

 

Amira lets go of the rifle and skirts back.

She rushes forwards and tries to gut them with her pick...

 

They're the same as before, harpoon on one end, winch on the other. The harpoons seem to be stuck near the roof of the train cars.

Ahem, I said it once, I'll say it again. You find your drone where you left it, though it's been disabled.

Maybe if you use specialty loads. Have one vehicle strike others might cause other problems, if those other vehicles are still tethered.

Unless you've got quite the confidence in your throwing arm, it'll be quite the crapshot. Your best option is to pitch one into an open hatch.

((You were the guy who picked the Colt SAA. Also, clips? Are you thinking about a Mauser C96?))
"Whoa, injured man! come over here, I'll take a look at that."

The raider loses his grip on you as he takes quite the nasty hit.

With the force of the exo behind your pick, the tool's head breaks off after punching into the raider's body.

 

She grabs the rifle and retreats as Rubio attacks the assailant.

She's too thrilled with the power to care, trying to grab the broken head itself to remove it and strike his head with it.

 

Jade see's if a shot to the launcher would "disable" them.

Maxwell tries to see if the suit could lug Kronos around...He knows he couldn't without the suit, but he just tries to pick him up with it
