These are amazing. I've never actually *wanted* to replace the wallpaper and floors before honestly. I'm a bit confused though. I know I need to replace the walls_and_floors xnb file in both content and maps. But I am not sure what this .DS_Store file is exactly.

 

All these pastel tones and nature themed wallpapers... Absolute lovely! Thank you for sharing. ♡

As far as I know, this file comes from creating a mod on a mac. If you're using another system, you probably don't need it. Someone correct me please if I'm wrong.

I don't think it's needed! The only files needed are the xnb files.

Your wallpapers are amazing! And thank you so much for sharing. However for some reason I can't get the new walls/floors to show and did exactly what I was suppose to do. :/ The furniture is different but the files for the walls and floors didn't seem to change the wallpapers and floors in game.

 

did you make sure to put the "walls_and_floors.xnb" into the Content & Maps Folder (Make sure not to put the .DS_Store in the folder i think it's there by making it with a Mac Computer)

 

Yes I did! I have no idea why it's not showing up in my game thank you for trying to help though.

 

Sorry it doesn't seem to be working! Unfortunately I don't know of a solution if you stored the xnb files correctly—apologies for not bejng able to help :-(

 

Oh I got it to work now!! I must have just accidentally mixed up files. Thank you so much again!!

Ack! Why didn't I notice these back when I was doing my pirate-themed farm! These would have been perfect additions. Ah, well, I'll save them in case I ever decide to hoist the Jolly Roger again. Nice work.

 

these are lovely but i'm having some trouble getting them to work. i copied and saved the vanilla furniture and wall+floor files in a storage folder and replaced the ones in stardew valley/content with these, but the textures never showed up in my game. attempting to put the vanilla versions back in caused an infinite loop where i got sent back to the main menu every time i selected my current file to play, and after trying to install the mods again i can't even load the game anymore. smapi only gives me a lot of red text i don't have the capacity to understand

i'm going to remove and reinstall the game to start from a clean slate; when i re-download these, what exactly do i need to do/where exactly do the files go so that they work as intended? (an explanation that a small child could follow would be appreciated, that's about where i am in how well i understand computers and modding lol)
