Stardew Valley Xbox One + PS4: Known Issues & Fixes (Patch 1)

Known issue if you are playing on Xbox one and it keeps loading back to title patch will be out on Feb 1st.

 

February 1st? Oh man. But thank you for the information! Guess I'll just play something else for the meantime sadly

 

My first save was unable to load Dec 27th 2016 I was on 1st year of spring day 27th I started another game played until second year 2ND fall and that's what I'm on now already have the Community Center built second playthrough was 10 times quicker

 

Oh, I'm sorry. I really hope this patch works though.

 

I have 2 deluxe barns a deluxe coop sewers desert mines,casino,quarry, silo I can go anywhere in the game working on friendships that's it.

 

My 2nd save is still going strong it's just a risk everytime I play it. On my second save in the two years that I was playing on it at the middle of year two I went to sleep one night and it did not save it made a weird noise and the game crashed and I had to restart from that beginning of that day but I was able to process through it it was a different bug

 

Have to give it up for this game I'm almost 34 and this game is super addicting and I'm used to first person shooters and RPGs very relaxing.

 

It is really addicting. It's hard to stop sometimes honestly. It's the reason why it was so upsetting that the save file couldn't load

 

Would it be safe to start a game of this now since the patch would fix any freeze? Is chuckle fish confident it will let bricked saves continue?

 

wait what where did you hear some saves can't be saved?

 

So I dont understand, They are saying that they are working on the problem but still, there will be ¨some¨ files that cant be saved due to the nature of the bugs? I dont find this very hopefull at all, I may be lucky if my saved file works or not, I have to say the game is wonderfull, beautiful soundtrack, great images, but this thing right here is anoying and disrespectful with the people who invest money and TIME on it, I didnt even play the game for one week and it has already crashed and now my saved file wont load, please make it work for EVERYBODY, not just the lucky ones.

So I am unfortunately a other victim of my save file not loading. I read that you could email chucklefish your email and your gamer tag and they would recover the broken file. What email do I contact. Can anyone help. I need my farm!!! Haha

You misunderstood. They were looking for save files in order to diagnose the loading issue and other problems. They have since diagnosed those issues. Your save file *should* work after the patch is released. Said patch has been submitted to Microsoft and now we're just waiting for it to be published. Chucklefish's guess is Wednesday for the patch to come out, but it's in MS' hands now.

 

Thank you. I had read a post that said it fixed the issue but wouldn't resolve already broken files,but glad to hear that's not the case

Playing on Xbox One, Riverlands farm. I was able to hatch a 13th dino into a deluxe coop with 12 already in it. They were all obtained legitimately, by hatching dinosaur eggs, no glitches were used. I simply put an egg in the incubator when there were 12 dinos in the coop. It may be worth mentioning that one of them acts a bit strange, running around way faster than all the others, not moving the same when I nudge it. I am currently trying to recreate this glitch in another coop for the sake of info.

 

I'm sure Chucklefish staff is gonna ask for a little more in depth explanation. The first questions that come to my mind are whether your game is modded (if so, what mods) and if you obtained any of the dinosaurs via the wallpaper glitch.

 

They're playing on Xbox One, so I highly doubt it's modded.
