If we're talking songs about historical events now, we're gonna need some Sabaton! This one is about the heroic and brutal defense of Finland from Soviet invasion during WW2. Ultimately, Finland was forced into a disadvantegous peace treaty but, as many russian officers said "We just conquered barely enough land to bury our dead". Ah, the winged hussars. Most, if not all of their battle accounts read like action movie scripts. Largely responsible for Vienna not falling to the Ottoman Empire, which would have changed the face of Europe forever. The infamous 7th tank division, nicknamed the "Ghost division" because they somehow managed to appear where they were needed with neither friend nor foe expecting them. Led by Erwin Rommel, who some say was the best German general of WW2, though how much of his exploits were propaganda is unknown. There is some evidence that he actuallly had ties to the resistance.
Sabaton always does great stuff, but you can't forget Maiden and their homages. The Charge of the Light Brigade, heralded as one of the bravest and oddly successful charges in military history. The entire event was caused some miscommunication. D-Day. Passchendaele. One massive blunder, all for a few miles of mud and a shattered town. Sabaton's Price of a Mile is about the same events.
@Surenu, thanks for the suggestion! The third song is pretty nice! About the first... It's very strange, but I really don't like russian songs. In my computer I'm keeping a lot of songs, but among 1856 songs are no one russian. I don't know why.
@Surenu, all songs are incredible and later I will download them, but I suppose our conversation is pretty dark. Suggest to add some fun!
Well, I have downloaded full Zebrahead discography long time ago. And I like Disturbed and BFMV! Whatever it was, for me nothing can be better than Green Day!
The most important thing on the Earth is have around people who will send you nice music! Thank you, man, you're incredibly lifted my spirits
