Hmmm... Im trying to think what to do about that... Since your right it can be to easy to highlight... Ill look into another option about that.
Like your desktop in windows you can highlight icons/items on your desktop by right clicking and dragging your mouse over the are of stuff you want selected.
Check boxes, easiest answer. Just check off which professions you want to have. Another option is a way to do like sequential drop down boxes. Since the level 10 perks depend on what level 5 perk you pick. It might make it a bit harder for people to make their character completely broken by taking every perk, but will make it easier to keep the file integrity intact.
What is the latest version of the Editor? I have 0.0.9.3 When I try to update it with the onboard updater option, it comes up with: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately Under details, it shows this See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The system cannot find the file specified at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start() at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) at Stardew_Valley_Save_Editor2.Form1.UpdateBTN_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.RaiseEvent(Object key, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripButton.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.HandleMouseUp(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEventInteractive(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripItem.FireEvent(EventArgs e, ToolStripItemEventType met) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mea) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStrip.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1076.0 built by: NETFXREL3STAGE CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- Stardew Valley Save Editor2 Assembly Version: 0.0.9.3 Win32 Version: 0.0.9.3 CodeBase: file:///E:/Game%20Guides%20and%20Cheats/Stardew%20Valley/Stardew%20Valley%20Save%20Editor/Stardew%20Valley%20Save%20Editor2.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1055.0 built by: NETFXREL2 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1075.0 built by: NETFXREL3STAGE CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1068.2 built by: NETFXREL3STAGE CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- JacksonSoft.CustomTabControl Assembly Version: 1.0.1.7 Win32 Version: 1.0.1.7 CodeBase: file:///E:/Game%20Guides%20and%20Cheats/Stardew%20Valley/Stardew%20Valley%20Save%20Editor/JacksonSoft.CustomTabControl.DLL ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1067.0 built by: NETFXREL3STAGE CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- StardewPanel Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///E:/Game%20Guides%20and%20Cheats/Stardew%20Valley/Stardew%20Valley%20Save%20Editor/StardewPanel.DLL ---------------------------------------- MapEditor Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0 CodeBase: file:///E:/Game%20Guides%20and%20Cheats/Stardew%20Valley/Stardew%20Valley%20Save%20Editor/MapEditor.DLL ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1055.0 built by: NETFXREL2 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.6.1055.0 built by: NETFXREL2 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Well something was missing, so I just downloaded a new copy and updated it, it's now 0.0.10.0 But now there's no update button. Is that supposed to happen?
The program crashes when starting. I have .net, and I use windows seven, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Is it possible to modify whether or not The Cave has Fruit bats or Mushrooms, or is that a dangerous change?
Chicklet is another save editor that has the ability to change your cave from bats to mushrooms, but I believe that if you have any of the new buildings from 1.1 (so the shed, the obelisks, or the golden clock) it will crash. I also think there's a way to edit your save file in notepad to change it, but I am definitely not game to try.
When editing my map, it only shows the basic farm, and does not support the other farm types. Are there plans to implement that?
Hello! I'm having some trouble... I first tried to hack my game using the 4.0 version (before I realized I had to update it) and I edited in 10,000g, 3 cauliflowers, and 40 bait. When I tried to open my save file in the game, the amount of money it showed I had was the original amount (2,000g) and when I tried to load it, it instantly crashed. I then updated the editor and loaded up the same file I had done in 4.0, and also tried overwriting the file w/ loading a backup and saving over it, but my game still keeps crashing when I try to open it... :'( Please help!!!
Question. Does this no longer work for anyone else? I had used the Inventory Editor before, placing artifacts into it without a problem. Now if I try to add anything into my inventory, chests or anything it doesn't work. It saves fine, looks okay but when I load up I do not have the items. But if I go back into the editor and reload the Save it still shows I am holding the items I placed in there. Any ideas? Thanks!
We will check into that. Did you click the update button for every single one of the items you placed in the inventory? Also, what version of the editor are you in?
It does not work properly any more ... you can not add or change items and no more recipes ... when will it be fixed?
