Huge Mecha's

As a fan of Mecha's, i love the addition of Mecha's ingame.

But Mecha's that are like 3 storeys high, that would be awesome, right?
Walking around in a Mecha that can be controlled by 2 or more people.

What do you guys think?

 

Sure, everybody loves big mechs and I could imagine that it would be awesome to wreck a planet with a huge mecha that you and your friends are controlling or better pvp with mechs.

Inb4: the moon is a mech.

 

Yeah, it would be great but it would be hard to code from the devs point of view...

Hmm, riding around something like this would be pretty freaking amazing.

 

They already plan on mechs in this game, just not overly large ones.

This game is sprite-y, and most things are relatively tiny, so to have something like a giant mech would look awful. That's pretty much your whole screen depending on resolution.

 

mmmh, that is true, but i mean huge not in HUGE, just like 3/4/5 times the size of a normal one.

 

so just to clarify, universe sized mechs are still ok?

I mean - look at the backgrounds.

 

Universe sized? mmmh, a bit to big and i dont know about how hard the coding would be, but galaxy sized ones are already confirmed *hides*

Yeah we don't really need moon-sized mechs (although it would be awesome ). Maybe we could even have transformable Mechs or the cockpit of the Mech would be a smaller Mech that you could dig with, because it's hard to dig with a really big Mech.

Well it could be endgame content and just because it's huge doesn't mean it can destroy a whole planet within seconds. That, I have to agree with you, would be OP.

 

Made me think of the T-600 (or whatever) from terminator 4

 

I would love to have a Mech in a mech that fits in a Mech that can fit into another Mech. Mech-ception?

 

Eventually you would get down to a pilot, that fits into another pilot inside another pilot..........

Anyways... would love to have big Mechs, idk if having them be multiplayer controllable is such a good idea though.

 

Could get a bit chaotic, but hey chaos is huge fun.
