Hooray it's finally coming out. now I won't have to hear people complaining about how long it's been taking for 1.0 too come out anymore

 

Ooh, Starbound 1.0 release da- AHHHH, I MISSES THE STREAM!

 

To say how much I thirst buduyuschih updates, I can only say one thing. At the time of release, I expect some thread DLC that would support you.

 

Thanks so much, Chucklefish. I have so much respect for you guys as a studio. So many early access games have been disappointing, or never really delivered what they said they would. You guys really set the standard, and if anything gave me more than I thought I'd get when I purchased Starbound.

I haven't launched the game in 2 years because I wanted to wait for release to get a 'full' experience. I'ts been hard to watch all your cool updates and content patches and not be playing them, but I'm excited to finally jump back in, soon!

 

Do not forget the version for Humble.

 

I've been following Starbound since (checks profile) January 2013. I waited for what felt like forever to get my hands on the game. The hype to play was insane, and while I did enjoy every one of the 600+ hours I've put into the game so far, I knew it was not quite the Starbound I wanted & I knew it would take time to get there. So I waited. I have waited for this moment to arrive because I knew 1.0 would be the Starbound I had always hoped for, but I was wrong. 1.0 is not the Starbound I had always hoped for, it will be SO MUCH MORE! I cannot express how insanely hyped I am right now! July 22, 2016 baby!!!

 

I'M SO READY TO PLAY AGAIN!

Been waiting for awhile for this. Never doubted that it would be released and by the looks of things, it has come a long way over the years.
Will be interesting to see where things go from here.

 

Been a long time running, and good to see it finally get to this point. Good. Bad. All of it was quite an interesting journey just to get where we are now. A lot of changes, bumps, reworks, examinations, moving, progress, and overall community that has pushed forward. Granted not everyone is happy, but quite a few are; as this is news and a decent step forward on this long journey.

I really enjoy the experience and all the blogs that I could read, even if mostly from here. Still was all enjoyable for me. Great work everyone. Let the stabbing begin...

Indeed. There is absolutely nothing hypeworthy happening so far as I'm concerned - the game as it is now is just painful to play for me. So unless something good happens in that regard between now and the 22nd... meh.

I'm going to go with "Oblivious Sloth".

So in two weeks Starbound is out of Early Access? It's been about time and I can't wait for it!
