That looks fine. Can you upload the fish.xnb you have there? Just pack it up in a .zip file and attach it to your message

I already see one discrepancy, for example. The capitalization you have is different from the one provided in the thread

 

I changed it since it didn't work the last time and thought that might've been the problem.

 

Okay... Well, you don't have to post it, but I can't really help you any further then

 

I don't know where you got this file, but it's definitely not the same as the one in the OP. It turns all difficulty for all the fish to 1 (for reference, the average difficulty is around 40, I think) and turns them into the smooth type (for reference, fish can have several types like smooth, dart, sinker, floater, etc.)
Not even the Super Easier Fishing file here has that. That one puts the difficulty for the Fish to 15-30 and makes a lot of them smooth, but keeps a few floaters and sinkers

I recommend redownloading from this thread and reinstalling it

 

Okay, now...I realized that I downloaded two easy fishing mods from two different modders. I think that other one I uploaded was from another thread:

This is the original unedited one from the vanilla game. I recognize those values. For example, Legend has a difficulty of 110!

The easy one. In my experience, that makes the fish easy enough already. Only if you really still struggle a lot with this should you try the super easy one
For reference, in the easy one, Legend (the most difficult fish) has a difficulty of 60, almost half of the original!

If I understand you right... You can still fail catching a fish, as the minigame still plays. It's just easier than before, making the fish a lot less erratic and quick

 

Ah, so fishing from 1 to 7 pm with no catch is completely normal?...Even with the super easier fishing installed?
