[MISS]you fire at the eyeball and miss. The dodgeball sized eye sprouts a few more tentacles and begins scuttling away...

Harold-
You can plainly see that you are once again trapped in a prison cell. This time indoors. It seems much sturdier than the one you were in, and the bedding is still freshly tramped. You can spot amongst it small tufts of dark red down.

You quietly open the door to the bedroom before. No guards have noticed you.

All of the parts seem to be coated with a thick layer of dark margarine-textured grease... Your fingers have trouble gripping them as they slip.

The maid shrieks as you shoot and barge in. She drops the duster she was carrying before drawing her own gun... She looks very frightened and quite old.

{ Elsie facepalms, putting her revolver back into its holster }

" I am so sorry about that! "

" Get some drinks I thought, it would be a good Idea I thought....."

{ Allestar looks around the ship, hoping there could be some weapons }

Harold checks his wounds and equipment, then outside his cell.

 

Artyom wrinkles his nose, and gets a rag and a box of cotton swabs. He begins with the barrel, getting every inch of the coil, and running the rag through the inside of the barrel to wipe it off thoroughly. He then moves to the activator, and all the other misc parts, cleaning them carefully. He checks the parts for any damage or corosion under the grease.

Splicer runs after it and fires wildly, slashing with plasma whenever he gets close enough to do so

 

There is actually no corrosion, rust, or wear of any kind beneath the oily layer.

Between your below average agility and painful hunger cramps, you miss wildly as the eyeball creature squirms away and rounds the corner.

 

The maid clutches her heart in relief. She then picks up her feather duster and smacks you on the head. "You naughty girl. You'll be paying for that door handle! Now if you'll excuse me. I have to carry on with my job. Get what you need and get out. Talk to the receptionist and he'll have you file a form to pay for the handle."
She goes back to cleaning your room.

Whatever was there was probably already taken in the raid. You do end up finding a secret compartment with a custom holopad, and some odd spiked tags.

Your wounds are unbandaged and definitely infected. Your equipment you can see outside your thick sandstone and metal cell lying on a table. There are four guards. Two by you and two by the entrance.

 

{ Elsie tries to find the file, she thinks she left it under the bed }

" Didn't I leave it here? "

{ Allestar takes the holopad, he leaves the tags }

" Sveina, I hope your not trying to leave the starsystem.... "

 

You left it under the bed, but the maid must have found it while cleaning up and placed it on your nightstand.

{ Elsie takes the file and leaves to go to the receptionist }

" Aha! "

The maid goes back inside. The receptionist is still where he was enforce still reading his book.

{ Elsie goes up to the receptionist }

" Um...I need to fill out a form....for door repair.... "

" Whatever is happening, I cant handle it alone... "

{ Allestar looks around at the group }

" I need these guys, guess its time for me to show them my heart... "

'Hmm...' Artyom takes a small capsule from his pocket and puts some of the grease into it. He then pulls over the four capacitors. He turns them over in his hands, after wiping the oil off, 'Now, anything wrong with you babies?' He says to himself, while looking for damages.

 

{ Allestar looks around the ship, trying to find some clothes other than what he was meant to die in }

"Ugh.... "

Harold calls to the nearest guard.
"Hey, sir... Any reason why my wounds aren't cleaned?"

he slides a form over to you with an exasperated sigh. It's pretty much just asks for room number, date, and list of damages.

"Care to elaborate? Because according to the map, we've already passed five star systems..."

The capacitors look to also be covered in oil, which actually seems to have gunked up the ends of the wiring. That could do with some cleaning.

You find a spare doctors mask.
