RP Pocket Watch (Chapter 5: Latin Love)

"Umm.. Okay, I'm not even going to argue with that," Flynn added.

 

"Then we will go." Drake strides towards the breach, still holding the watch.

Kotoka and the others were now within walking distance of the wall as well.

Elise, Dogan, and Jamison walked along. Kotoka with no mask on, began to visibly and audibly cry. "Freedom, I feel normal!" He whimpered. Gunshots began to get closer and sirens were still the same. "Let's go, lets just get out of here!" He said. He began to run towards the hole.

They walked through the breach. There feet were punished with over grown vines and what seemed to be tree roots similar to a mangroves. It was like a jungle, it was beautiful. You could hear some of the civilians crying cause they were finally free, but they would have to hurry if they wanted to be free forever. Along some of the vines and over grown shrubs there seemed to be broken down buildings, even though they were ruins they brought the scenery together perfectly.

At this moment a green looking squirrel ran over Flynns foot and scurried into the nearby tall grass.

If you listened even more closely you could hear what sounded like a violin.

 

Aldora hardly knew what was going on. The air had been poisoned, said the man who'd given her a gas mask to put on, and now there'd been a huge explosion and people were running toward the site. They seemed to be okay enough, though, so she decided to follow them and see what she could see. As she got closer to the hole in the wall, she could see the untamed jungle, and smiled to herself for the first time in a long time. Ruins? Tribal villages? Who knows what's in there. Keeping her eyes on the exit, she forgot to watch where she was going.

 

Flynn flinched at the green squirrel, "what is this place?"

 

Sandra looked around, she twisted her head in ways one couldn't imagine. She couldn't take it all in at once. "I believe this what the Guards called, Infernum. The outside world."
If they were to look back they would see people pouring out of the walls. It looked like they were releasing animals back into the wild. It might have looked a bit funny.

CHAPTER 5: LATIN LOVE

 

Alexander was also mesmerized by the wild jungle. It brought the memories of his old life flooding back to him, and he loved it. Feeling much of the same excitement and followed along behind a woman near him, seemingly disregarding her surroundings in an attempt to get out of the city quicker. And Alexander couldn't blame her; he felt the need to explore, to stretch his legs, climb some trees, all of what he had loved to do with his family.

 

"Sweet sweet fantasia, this is new," Flynn stomps around on the ground, feeling the soft vegetation.

 

"We should start moving forward. My eyes are hungry for more!" She squeals almost teenage like. Upon further inspection a path was visible, but there was also an abandoned house that seemed to be almost habitable and not fully corroded up ahead...

 

"Hey this place, wanna check it out?" Flynn says, looking intently at the house as they begin to walk by.

 

Aldora, stepping into the wilderness, flicked her eyes back and forth, searching for any sign of human habitation. A trail, perhaps, or the unnatural outlines she'd seen in books so many times that indicated a ruin. Heck, she was living an open book right now! A whole world to explore, and untold time to explore it. She forged ahead into the jungle, moving away from the crowds, still not paying attention to her feet, which tripped over a protruding root and down she went.

 

Elise removes her mask as well, tasting the fresh air that swept in from the outside world. She hadn't noticed the difference in the quality until now. Elise is quiet as her group tramples through the under and overgrowth, getting as far from Trifaria as possible. She sees the ruins and wonders about what this place was 1000 years ago. Did they move our pods or did this jungle shoot up from the ground over time. What was the name of the city that she traveled to for the experiment anyway?

 

Quickly kicking into action, Alexander sprints through the hole from the explosion. Anxious to start delving deep into the thick treeline, Alexander wanted to explore the first abandoned building he could find. He was wary, though. There were many people here he didn't know, and on the other hand, many people he should probably get to know- namely the individuals who blew up the wall. The urge to explore was too great, though, and he ran into the jungle, in almost the same direction Aldora went. If she stopped trippin, maybe she'd see him.

 

Dogan lagged behind, sulking. In a hushed voice, Dogan could be heard talking to himself. "I don't want to go Mora... I don't care what he wants, he's just... really? But... fine, If you say so..."

 

Aldora picked herself up off the ground, brushing herself off and looking around again as she did so. Glancing backward, she saw a man running in a similar direction as she was. Another explorer. "Hey!" she called to him. "Where are you going?"

 

Glancin back, Alexander stops his run for a minute and turns back to look at the girl, seemingly growing from the underbrush itself.
"Yes? What is it?"

 

"...where are you going?" Okay, apparently he hadn't heard that the first time. Also, he wasn't following her, which was... probably good.

 

"Wherever my heart takes me."
Alexander then turns around again to keep up his exploration. He could barely hear her, and he didn't know if he could trust her. In his heart, though, he felt like he should Atleast wait for her, in case she had more questions.

 

"Poetic of you." Aldora started after him, offering an indulging smile. "Yet that still hasn't quite answered my question. What are you looking for, exactly?"

 

They approach the building, it seems to look like an old church, stained glass was sprinkled along the forested ground creating a ray of colors when the sun hit it just right. Otherwise it looked like small sprinkles.

Jamison patted Dogans back.

Kotoka led the group out side of the walls they were now in the jungle.

The two begin to see the ruined down building. They would notice how ruined and broken down it was. (SHOCKER!)
