I am no longer taking requests! The queue is closed. I will be pursuing my own endeavors and posting up art here, as I make it! Feel free to stick around and talk about art and such! View attachment 138300 I also used to do forum art on GaiaOnline, and avatar art on SecondLife, but those pics are here: kaiachi.deviantart.com. Want to donate? Visit my profile page for the links, or shoot me an IM. ~This super special spot is reserved for none other than Cup o' Tea. (Lineart by Lonewolf 239, colored by me.) The most recent picture I've made is the one above, though she is in the process of being redesigned. If you chat about random stuff (as we all do), please post in the Off-Topic Thread. I have drawn 274 pictures since May 19th, 2015.
Would you like to do my character? Here's a post I made in the sticky. So, are you focusing on an art commissioning career someday?
Ehhh I find it hard to find a reference piece, I really want a guy fishing but best thing I can find.I have no specifics besides fishing what you decide to do is perfectly fine. Runefactory Fisherman
Sure thing! And yeah, I'd really like to do art commission someday. I always aspired for game concept art and whatnot, but who knows? Sounds good! I like that pic, but I can definitely work with that idea.
Thanks I don't want to feel like I'm pressuring you into drawing something difficult, I just enjoy the rpg rugged fisherman look.Since I fish in just about every game that will let me. >~<
Hey there Kaiachi, could I see a screen shot of your art? I also have a simple request for you if you're able, im attempting to create the three new shield tiers for the avali but I have no idea on how to do that, do youthink youd be willing to help me with that? The avali shields or more or less force fields and for each tier ill have it colored for the ore that was used to create it. Edit: just noticed you're not confortable with this topic, let me know if youre up to tje task, I also have no idea what im doing as im modding this. This post was 100 percent for kaiachi, saying rift was a mistake!
Wait! Why did I say rift?! Bah let me fix that, that was a mistake. Sorry! Also it seems we keep meeting on other threads. That post was for kaiacho.
Oh nononoononono. I feel no pressure at all. I saw your idea and slight reference (I've played the game myself), and it's an exciting notion. I enjoy virtual fishing myself. >.>
WHAT IS THAT MAN!?!? but back on topic how long does it usually take you to complete one of these? I have been drawing for the better part of 4 years now and I can never bring myself to finish a full color painting... >.>
Hrm... I'm not really sure I can help you much there, but if you give me a pic of the base shields for the Avali mod (I don't have it installed), I might be able to do that. I completely understand. I've been on ESO a lot lately, and they have a fishing system (and some beautiful water, I might add), so it's very relaxing. That man is a fisherman from a Harvest Moon game (one of the first images if you google Runefactory Fisherman), and I finish two fullcolor drawings in a day, usually.
wow I always get 'burned out' after I finished sketching details, I want to force myself to make a finished piece but you know that when you force yourself to draw it turns out pretty bad
Elder scrolls? I was going to try Archeage just for fishing, That and pretty mean pvper. But yea as long as I can fish I'd play just about anything.
Awesome! If it looks do-able, I will certainly try it out. I understand. I love the sketching part. I feel like ALL of my sketches turn out better! But I've forced myself over the years to do lineart..then coloring/shading, and now I'm finally doing the transition for backgrounds. Although if it's a topic I don't like much, and I force myself to finish it, it turns out horribly! Elder Scrolls Online has fishing (you can get fish to cook with, bags of runes/crafting stones, and achievements), but it's so peaceful and beautiful. I've never tried Archage, actually. O.O though I wouldn't be opposed.
Some people love drawing backgrounds... then there is the rest of us... How long have you been drawing for?
Oh gosh, you're speaking my language... I want a ship! :O Haha, too true. Practice makes perfect, and I've been trying to make a background for EVERYTHING! That's a hard question to answer. *Technically* I've been drawing proficiently for 14 or so years. I was given admittance to an art academy when I was in fifth grade, so I went to it after normal school every day. I got into digital art three years ago, so I'm not my peak yet, but I try.[DOUBLEPOST=1432148548][/DOUBLEPOST]
