Apart from actually writing the mod, I put a degree of effort in to make sure that this mod is, in fact, server friendly and won't cause problems that might not be obvious at first glance.

Mods like these are the reason I wish starbound had server file consistency setting to prevent mod based cheats.

 

Is there a way I can disable the fast speed matter manipulator?

edit: There is, just remove the "items" folder. The only thing it controls is the beamaxe, aka Matter Manipulator.

Edit 2: Very first time I tried to travel to another system, I got stuck in the traveling animation. Gonna have to go back to SpawnableItemPack, unfortunately.

You're not the only one wanting server side characters.

 

There's a bit of a problem when uninstalling the mod. If you try to use your S.A.I.L, your game crashes. Any idea how to fix this issue ?

I've done as you said but that didn't change my matter manipulator back to normal.

 

That's a flaw in how the Starbound matter manipulator works at the moment, unfortunately.
You can use StarCheat to edit your matter manipulator back to normal.

 

Never. Never uninstall this mod.
Or just dont install it, when uninstall this mod JUST BREAK your char.
1.- You delete the .metedata, but when you do the ship reboot, your ships goes back TO 2 TIER
2.- Dont delete the .metadata, but you cant open SAIL

 

I don't really like how the MM has been changed so that Shifting takes more than one block at a time.

Regular clicking is for mass-breaking. Shift-clicking is for minute details.

Is there a way to change that back?

 

I'll add a way to set it in a future patch.

I'm also looking into a way to make an "uninstall" mod that lets you remove ILC's mod data without deleting your ship, although to be honest I'm hoping Chucklefish just make it so deleted .aiactions don't crash Starbound.
