*the incredibly nervous little Avali quickly leaps into Lex's lap and curls up tightly with his wings draped around his back and his head nestled under his chin*

*his earlier trembling has caused his plumage to be all kinds of ruffled and making him a literal fluffball in desperate need of preening, despite this he lays there in his lap very still for quite a while, greatly enjoying the petting*

You're a good guy... *he slowly turns his head to Agatha and mutters* But I don't hate you either...

*shortly after he yawns and curls up on his back and closes his eyes, looking very peaceful in Lex's lap as he starts dozing off*

I wonder what exactly is going through Agatha's mind due to this whole situation.

 

(Probably wondering how she is one of the very few able to turn Marxon into a whimpering mess...

But probably wondering how a creature resembling an almost literal ball of fluff half her height has all this gear with him and is so preoccupied with being hospitable)
