I was in the middle of fighting a bat mini-boss, when I ducked into a nearby laboratory for a few seconds to heal. When I jumped back out, the mini boss had flown away. I looked left, right, and high up, but could never find it again. :/ Could we please tweak the code for flying mini-bosses so that they won't disappear?
You probably went out of its range. All enemies tend to give up on chasing someone once they're a certain distance, as far as I can tell.
That's because their AI has them turn and stuff. Birds only fly in one direction forever unless the hit a wall, you screw with them, or they decide to screw with you.
That makes sense. Could we alter aerial miniboss AI slightly, maybe add an invisible wall for them so they always fly within range of their original location?
