It's probably inactive because it's inconvenient. phpbb3 is old as dingdong and xenforo is so much more convenient...but costs something like $140.

Kinda obvious when the l is blue.

 

We were just using this one to see if people were willing to move to another forum, make an account, and post there. Turns out it worked.

But when we switch to XenForo, there will be no reason to primarily post here instead of there.

 

It really isn't and calling attention to it is probably the worst thing you could do.

Dunno bout you but I've been on the forums too long to abandon this place.

 

I plan on posting there daily but I'm staying on these forums for the most part. Unlike these other nerds I actually enjoy posting and reading things outside this thread.

 

And I'm gonna also be here cause... just cause. Maybe check out some other threads and stuff. Yeah.

For now though, maybe we can use a torrented version of XenForo, and get it all prepared and set up before hand, so that it's all ready to transfer over when a legit copy is obtained.

I'll be staying here too, but right now there's more people posting here than on the Starstuck Forums. I'm just saying that won't be the case when we switch to XenForo, not that this place will be completely dead when we switch to XenForo.

EDIT: Okay the phrasing is pretty bad. Basically:
We are going to switch to XenForo.
Our XenForo will be the main, primary place for Starstucks to Post.
But the Chucklefish Forums' Starstuck Thread will not be dead, as some will still be staying here.
