Could just have an 18+ hidden thread (cant just set your bday to before 1992, you have to be approved)

 

People who are 18+ don't want to see it and younger members here have already viewed prons.

XenForo should let private conversations act as threads for this kind of stuff I would think though.

As you guessed, we don't really need MORE mods. We already have 7. And we'd all have to agree to you being a mod if we were to add you as one.

1. It hasn't been mega-vetoed. I just consolidated all the sides for/against it and rebutted/explained where needed. It's still on the table, but my stance is clear now. I hope others can agree.
2. Would that be an opt-in thing or do the admins have to add you to the section permissions each time? The former would be preferable, but some admins would prefer not to have the section on the screen, and being admins, don't really have the option to hide it that I know of. If the latter is true, that would become a big pain in the neck.

No matter what, I'm staunch on the whole "keep nsfw stuff to PM's" thing. Like, we ought to have some appearance of decency. And, as Rel did say, if Limit Break does become mildly popular (I have methods I'm already working on, and plenty of friends online), then what if I get complaints? And what if we get a flood of trolls who post cp, and stuff?

How do convos work on that client? Are they like on this forum, where anyone can invite anyone, as long as they're in the convo themselves? Because if that's the case, we could just have an application thread, and if you wanted to join the nsfw convo, you'd ask to, and someone would invite you. No moderators needed. But of course, if they don't let just anyone join, or even worse, they don't let more than two people, it wouldn't work.

That's another important point I almost forgot
18+ (nsfw) sections would be as 18+ as pornographic sites, regardless of the actual content
It'd be illegal to let minors into the section
Do I think we'd get caught? No. Not in a million years. But it's still something important to consider.

I mean, if this had a specific topic, like it was a forum about some series, I could see some people using it as a way to show off their art and fanfiction, but this is a place of gathering. Not "spiermanxxxforums.com".
