Character Names

both of my characters' names are edited randomly generated names. I liked parts of the names, but not all of it, so I edited it to fit my needs.

I have a Floran named Fernleaf Slashflower (the guy in my icon) and a Glitch named Harmonycia.

The reason I only have two characters is because I get my characters to T10 before I make a new one.

 

One of my more recent characters is a Floran named Ghostknife. It came up after using the randomised name button, and I thought it was pretty nice.

 

I have a Floran named Thornfinger. Ever since I created that character, I used that name for my Guild Wars 2 Sylvari. Yay plant people!

Do modded races count? Well, there it is anyway.

 

My main character's name is Koh (My real name's first syllable minus letter H)

And his codename is One, kinda like Zer0.

 

I'm all for names that mean something!

Glitch: Killboy Powerhead
Human: Brave Sir Robin (USCM 3star General)

 

I had a "Brave" Sir Robin. He was a silly Glitch. I never really came around to remaking him. Maybe it's because the Glitch armor looks bad after 4th Tier...

 

My glitch names have all been either internet memes, references to movies where I could fit a robot pun in, or a portmanteau of one word with a type of metal.
For instance:

Juan-Sanchez De La Robo Ramirez (played with that purple, feathered, fancy hat and a Hylotl katana for authenticity)
Floppy P**is Dot Gif
Grumpy CAT6
Code Mongler (he will mongle your code)
Sim Ronan

 

I named my floran Sirloin, like the cut of meat. I just thought it sounded cool, and because the Floran hunt a lot.

 

My Starbound crew are named as follows-
Chell Redacted- The only character I stole, I found her backstory could fit quite well into the game with a bit of tweaking.
Sanshoo Arashi- My Hylotl and main character, Sanshoo is a corruption of the Japanese term for salamander.
Keoren V3 aka the Binary Bard- My wandering glitch minstrel.
Citlali- The Avian spy. The name uses Mayan etymology.
Firth Charrington- A rather heavy-handed reference to 1984.
Bajlegab Batslegab- My floran merc, this name is just bagel jab bagel stab backwards because I thought it was funny.
Nym Galtby- The name I have reserved for my Novakid. Galtby is the first random name I got when testing the nightly, and I sort of like it. Nym is referencing a character in an obscure off-Broadway western musical based on Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Also, I found bandit called "Melon Toucher"... seems legit!

 

Back when I pre-ordered the game, my second character was an Avian named 'Lemonfeet'. He will not be forgotten, for he is the true savior of this world and the chosen Avian.
Unfortunately I don't remember what I named my very first character - all I know is that he was a human and was based on me.

I named my Floran "Zolam" and my Avali "Kasomi".

 

Apex: Subject 202-X
"Subject" as in test subject, 202 is a number that has followed us since forth grade in strange ways and for personal reasons, and X is for a personal reason.
