Hi all. I went to the first ever beer festival in Morelos. Interesting experience, the best part of it was when I went to eat quesadillas. WITH MEAT

 

Isn't a quesadilla with meat really just a taco?

Hi, I'm Crimms. I'm Mexican. You don't get to tell me what's a quesadilla and what's a taco. A taco is, essentially, a tortilla rolled (important) around meat and sometimes some veggies/fruits (pineapple, onion, parsley or coriander). A change in the base changes the general dish. A tortilla folded (important) with cheese (important) and other stuff added (meat, veggies or fruit) on the inside is a quesadilla. Quesa comes from Queso, meaning cheese.

To clarify: Just because you think tacos with pineapple are a bad idea doesn't mean you're right. Living in a city where 1 outta 10 restaurants is a taco restaurant selling "tacos al pastor" and none go bankrupt because every single fucking soul in Cuernavaca goes to eat in those, I can tell you right now you're wrong. Terribly.

Being a person who eats those tacos regularly, I can tell you right now you know nothing about pineapple on tacos.

My parents are big fans of pineapples. I have been fed far too many different things that contain pineapples in some way, and they have never been any good except on their own.
