Great work guys! I really appreciate the very frequent updates and the detailed changelogs. But when will you add IPv6 support? The server doesn't listen on IPv6 at all. ...wait are those brains on the trees?
What is stable and unstable? Will techno music play during the sandstorms? Will you be planning weather specific monsters? What is in the "pods"?
Unstable is a special beta mode. As for the pods, it's part of a future Agaran event. Just wait 'till they hatch...
Heck! What will Heck be? A nightmare planet? Another dimension? *doom* *cough* *demons* I can't wait to see the new system and finally be done with the beta model.
How do I access the unstable branch? What does the OpenGL version do that the standard version will not?
OpenGL version works better for some people. Other people, not so well. Before you access the unstable branch, be sure you're completely fine with losing any progress you've made thus far. the name "unstable" isn't for kicks. so, go to Steam -> right click Starbound -> click Preferences at the bottom -> Betas at the top -> where it says "NONE", click that and choose "unstable - more beta than beta" or something similar.
once these changes get pushed to stable I'll make a changelog. you better not go refusing to push content to stable ya hear
I dunno man, their lack of updates is starting to piss me off somethin' fierce. sure, release hats and more buildings and stuff, but release something! constantly.
