In the original DE you could pick any path you wanted(Stealth to Frontal Assault to anything in between) and you were never fucked over because of it.
I just hit the first boss of DE:HR, and because I'm a stealth character, I'm completely fucked over. I swear, my tranquilizer darts do nothing, my tazer just stuns him, and my wimpy silenced pistol bounces off him like fucking nothing.
God fucking damnit.
