There's always some weird rule floating around, but this time the rules will be slightly less weird, I promise. Now, without any further ado...

DONGER CUP PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

This month, we decided to mix things up a bit. Per usual, the original Donger Cup will be up for grabs again in what will surely be a great tourney. Since the method used in the previous tournament (both players get the same type) seemed to work best, the system will be kept and used again. However, modifications may be made from here to the tourney, so make sure to catch our PSAs.

As the community seems to be a bit sick of Monotype, we decided to throw in a side-show. Introducing the X2 Cup Combob Cup, celebrating the release of the new-and-improved Doubles tier. As per usual, Ubers will be banned, with a comprehensive list being in the works. Unlike the original Donger Cup, you must bring your own team in advance! Take advantage of the time between now and the cup to refine a team that works.

As for the other events, nothing is set in stone except the presence of Risk of Dongers and Team Donger 2.​

x2 cup combob cup is just ordinary Doubles. In the normal Monotype tourney, the player and their foe are assigned a type 30 minutes before the first match. They both get the same type. Next round, the pairs get a new type each again.
