RELEASED Deon's Armor/Weapon Shop - Updated with Jaffa Energy Staff

Greetings dear friends!

I am not going deep into modding yet, considering how there's a lot of updates incoming which are going to bring changes and new game mechanics, so I leave that field for other modding gurus for now.

However something I find useful now and forever is new armor skins, for other mods, your personal use as replacer and other things. Fully animated armor is something that takes time to draw and is always fun to have!

How can we download these resources?
This is worth me learning to mod starbound to add this armor.

 

Okay, once I upload the armor, I will sprite the gun as well.

It's planned.

You can replace any armor in game, just download the resource located under "download" link.

The armors are in /assets/items/armor

 

And Stormtrooper armor is released. More to come tomorrow! I actually drew this during my wife's birthday so I feel kinda guilty, so I am going to go watch some movie with her now . See you tomorrow!

Sorry for such a long list, I don't want to be THAT guy, but I also didn't want to make 20 or so posts.
Please note that this list is the work of about 10 people...

Anyways, whether you decide to make any of them or not, thank you for what you have already done/are doing.

 

I put your Phobos armor into the game and it worked great. The only issue was the helmet mask, I had to copy the mask from another armor (spacesuit) but it worked fine after that.
I will post a picture once I get home.

It isn't too hard, Starbound is pretty easy to mod even without tools.
I'm not much of a graphic artist, but I can edit a .txt file easily enough.

They are great armors, hope to see more.

 

DBZ armor would look pretty cool, only because you can make a guy that looks just like Goku.
I may mess around with some sprite work, if my normal job settles down a bit... Used to do it for Terraria, and this looks even easier!

I have a couple mods in my subforum on Bay12games. Currently planning to work on more stuff for Starbound because I love it .

 

Here we go, had some time before work to sprite this.

Alright. I'm glad you didn't go with the "exposed belly" from the cover of the original game, like actual ID software did later on. That armor was actually ripped and not vanity abs like people think.
