RELEASED More Pleasing Splash Screen and Centered Main Menu mod!

Just wanted to say:

If it was Tiy who developed the game, well, he got hired by Chucklefish Games and then he started making a new game. And since him and all the involved guys are hired by Chucklefish, that means their signature is the Chucklefish Logo.

 

Interestingly I prefer the old menu but without the splash stuff as it loads that little bit faster... I stripped out every thing at the start and just made the loading bit do a little ... when loading. Nice and simple.

I'd post the edit in here but by the sounds of it, it would create a riot !

 

I found out that if when you're at the Chucklefish logo, if you press Esc it will load the game much more faster.

Tiy started Chucklefish, along with the rest of the ENTIRE Starbound team. Thus this does infact make "Chucklefish" the creators of Starbound. Literally everyone on the Chucklefish team had a hand in making it.

On a personal side note, why would I want to see a loading screen with the title of the game I'm playing..like You don't see "TEAM FORTRESS 2" right before the TF2 main menu comes up, you see the Valve splash.
Same for every other game out there just about.

Though the laugh almost gives me a heart attack.

So Tiy already started Chucklefish when he was developing Terraria?

 

Dunno. Think he started it a bit after they started Starbound.

 

Because IIRC, Chucklefish was being founded when Terraria version was 1.0?

 

Like I said. I don't know when, all I know is Tiy made Chucklefish, was not hired by anyone.

With this in mind I'm going to wait for someone to read this and make a dreamscene of the planets and the stars without the title screen.

I dropped it in mods/splascreen and added that folder to the bootstrap.config.
I'm using Windows 7 with dual monitors (but the game is only on my primary monitor) and im on version Update v. Annoyed Koala 9/12/2013

 

This happened too. I had to realign them myself.
