I have a server hosted on my machine and have been playing with 3 friends for the past 3 hours. We finished playing and I decided to hop on my "single mode" player, now I cannot log on:

    starbound.log: http://pastebin.com/mpzfQ3LZ
    starbound_server.log: http://pastebin.com/sXsKRVDT
    Screenshot of bug: http://tinypic.com/r/o6wsxu/5

I am running on windows 8.1.

I have already tried shutting down the server and starbound and relaunching and that did not fix it.

I am going to attempt to reboot to see if that fixes the issues.

Rebooting has no change, I still cannot login to "single mode". I have never even played this toon online.. weird...

Creating a new character also does not let me in to single mode play... going to try relaunching server and connecting to it

Hey thedigit. It would probably be best to just edit your original post after trying multiple things in order to avoid warning points for self-bumping.

I see in line #1998: Warn: UniverseServer: client connect failed, wrong password
Though this may be of little significance, it would seem from quick looking that the server isn't recognizing your password and it then drops the handshake. Sounds to me like a beta bug and nothing from your end.

Sorry, didn't know I could edit... kinda odd that "single player mode" would be trying to authenticate to the server... haha
Edit: looks like others in another thread figured it out... by changing the default server password from "" (nothing) to anything else, it breaks single player mode.
