Why Are the Novakid so Popular?

Everyone seems to want to play as a Novakid, and I was just wondering why. Sure, they look cool and all that stuff, but is there something special about them that can explain why everyone seems to want to play as them?

Cause we don't have them.

 

Pretty much that, people want what they can't yet have.

 

because maybe they have explosive personalities & nature.

On a note, not everyone wants to be one. I don't. They just do not appeal to me really. It is still nice to have the option when they do finally arrive in game.

 

Its Human nature to want most what one can't have, and we're all human.....mostly....right? /shameless repeat of whats already been said.

I have only one thing to explain to you this phenomenon: ADHD cowboys.

 

Well, like others have said, we can't be them yet. That automatically make people like them.
Other than that, there's the fact that they're suns: You literally get to be a star (in a way).

 

what's better than being a star that's also a cowboy that's also in space that's also funny?

People might complain about planets of hats; but at the end of the day I think people like a nice simple race concept to latch onto. Look at the florans, novakid, vulcans, elves or Warhammer's humans (Homicidal, ADHD, logical, snooty and HERESY! respectively)

 

Or Ein, depending on your mindset.

 

I predict roughly seventeen billion simple character mods after launch, that add things like elves by modifying the human template with pointy ears. And about seventeen hundred full character mods with their own design and armours that will make everyone wonder what the &*%$ people were going on about with the cosmetic feature that is Novakids.

 

They are loved because we don't have them. People want what they don't have.
