What would you like next contest to be about?

A writing contest, all draw-y contests have the chance of some guy with a crap idea but good photoshop skills winning.

 

Actually, even me, who knows absolutely nothing of art, could draw an potion.
I still like the idea of a contest about plants and possible potions (or other kind of items) made whit them.

 

I would also like too see a contest about game mechanics!
Just think how many great mechanics can get in the game from a contest like that!

 

Hats.

A contest all about Hats.

Start off with an explanation of the basic design, materials to make it if it is a craftable item. Or, if not, what/who/where/why... plus a possible How... you get this particular noggin-donning garment.

Then, create an enjoyable mouth-watering description behind the lore of said hat, and why it's so important to get/make.

THEN, post an image of your creation, in all it's pomp & glory.


ps... ya, ya, I know a lot of games make Hats a big deal. but you have to admit, they ARE pretty cool

 

Weapons

 

I would like to see one about planet biomes. Would be interesting.

How about an armor/weapon contest? Winners get their gear implemented, plus when they start the game, they have the gear they designed!

 

But... But... Armor and weapons are way too easy! Be original people!

I don't know what the contest should be but it should be based more on creativity and thinking rather than pixel art. For example create a behavior pattern for a boss.

 

Do we even know if there will be bosses?

 

Did you miss everything? Did you miss the part where the Tiy SAID there will be bosses?

 

I've been around to see everything but I've never heard him say anything about bosses, please enlighten me

Can't be too sure about that. Who knows? It could be the background changing due to a massive boss.

In fact, I would like that. Suppose we summon the great flying Nose of Choochoolwho, the sky will turn red and the background will turn into a blazing inferno... Mhmm... flaring nostrils.

On topic: I'd go with vehicles or ships. I definitely have something decent to throw in!
