What do you like most about Starbound? And why?

The fact that EVERYTHING is randomly generated.

 

The fact that this game has better graphics than Terraria even though Terraria has 2x graphics and Starbound has 3x graphics.
It shows that the artists of this game are very talented.

 

And pixel art is, indeed, an awesome medium.

 

1. A game that focuses on exploration rather than space fighting and merchant trading. A lot of games try to say they focus on exploration, but they don't.
2. Lots of visual combinations for variety. And good pixel art on top of it.
3. Lots of customization. Both the players, bases/worlds, and probably NPCs.
4. Building things. I really like to build things.
5. Actually having quests and stories

 

What I really like about the game is the content it's going to have. I'm really into science-fiction and actual science. I will look forward to what they are going to come up not to mention what they have already made.

 

Random everything. Random textures, mobs, weapons, planets, backgrounds, EVERYTHING IS RANDOM!
