What do you like most about Starbound? And why?

I think I like the fact that "No two npc's or planets are the same"
It Really adds a sense of encouragement and warmth and fun to this game. Which I really like

I heard that there may be mechs, and that always grabs my attention. Though mostly I like that you're not confined to any one planet and you have the ability to move about freely and coordinate from space.

I love Terraria, and this looks like terraria's big brother on steroids! Can't wait!

 

The feeling that you are in space and that youre not bound to explore one single planet

 

I'm most excited about the exploration on all sorts of planets, with random generated mobs!
Holy cheese cake this game is going to make me not see the sun for years!

 

It really improves on terraria what i thought was missing. In terraria things just didn't feel dynamic enough, and while the worlds were large there wasn't much to see on them. I am in LOVE with the randomized sprites idea, and I know that will keep myself and my mates playing it for a good time, I'm very glad to see a game coming out with this kind of scale. High hopes here dudes, high indeed.

 

Being able to dual wield sounds amazing. I have yet to play a platformer with it.

Also, penguins.

 

What I like is the idea that what you see when you go to a random planet will be something no-one else has ever experienced before, the weapons you find to defend yourself have been found by no-one else before, and that you can explore this unknown world with friends.

EDIT: AND penguins are adorable. Especially if they are driving mechs.
